Got to work and started my day.by chopping cucumbers. Easy. Got a phone call about noon-ish that I did not expect...at all. It's fair to say that after that phone call my heart was filled with joy. It was so nice to feel lightened for a change. It has been so much negativity and bad blood in my life lately.
I had a big smile on my face the whole day.
After work I went home, to an empty apartment. Not that fun. I had a long hot bath. Got another message from Alex offering me his assistance with Ms Sassy ( yes I name my pet things ). Alex thinks I'm a retard when it comes to Technology. ( I'm very proud to say I unlocked my iPhone that had frozen the other day all by myself...not even Apple support could figure it out. Took me 5 hours but I did it. )
So Alex was kind enough to help me sort some stuff out with my laptop. Downloaded stuff and disc cleaned it etc. To be quite honest I have NO IDEA what he was instructing me to do. I just did what he told me to.
After an hour and a half on Skype ( bless Skype ) we were done for this segment. Step two he would get back to me on. I apparently need to download more things. It's quite frustrating to be a laptop handicapped person. So thank you Alex, for your time, honesty and for your calmness when I was thick. I really appreciate it.
Another awesome event occured this weekend. I took my oldest son Luqas to see Metallica. This band y'all is the king of metall. I've seen them 3 times now and I never get disappointed. What was so special to me this time was that I brought Luqas. To do something like this with him ment a lot to me. And I hope to him to. He was a bit shy in the beginning but at the end he loosened up and started to sing along and clapping and just rocking it like the rest of us. That was nice to see.
I had my good friend Anna over for a catch up, dinner and drinks. We sure had so many things to talk about. It's so nice to just be able to open up and get feed back on stuff we've felt insecure about. At the end of the day every girl wants a guy that can make her smile. That wants nothing more than to make her smile.
We decided to go into the city to meet up with some other friends of mine. Best choice ever. Had such a good time. Danced and laughed all night. Honey for the soul. Seriously great!
The only cure to all this madness; is too dream, far and wide, if possibility doesn't knock, create a damn door. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't make it. If the journey your travelling seems to far fetched and wild beyond your imagination; continue on it, great things come to the risk takers. And last but not least, live today; here, right now, you'll thank your future self for it later.
