Stay or go?!

My friend sent me this yesterday, from Hawaii. I don't like you..... 😜

My next ink project. Or an inspiration anyway. I don't do copies. Only originals

On Friday it's the boys' end of term day. So I've gotten the boys new clothes for the occasion. I only need to convince Luqas to cut his hair again. I swear that boy needs a trim every other week. Wish I had his hair actually.

My travel plans have changed due to the break up so I'm pondering on what to do next. I know I have two Aussie mates coming over shortly, but I'm set on Phuket. I don't have the funds ATM to go by myself. Anyone keen on coming along, sharing hotel and that?
I can most likely stay at a mates house but it's more fun to have a travel partner too. Oh well...what ever happens, happens.

Life is change....

When you are single you develop a lifestyle that that does not have to take into consideration another person. You can wake up in the morning drink your coffee, have breakfast at the counter, go to work, go to the gym, hang out with friends, smoke, drink piss and watch whatever you want on TV.
But when you bring another person into the mix you cannot continue to operate on the same schedule.
The situation has changed, so your old schedule is outdated. You have to adjust and not be selfish.
When ‘I’ is a fixed entity or a habit of thought, this transition is difficult.
If you cling this expired image, the relationship will begin to feel as if you are not a team, no love but the love for yourself. There will be one confrontation after the next. The intensity will continue to build over time until everything and the relationship washes out. Don't ever say you didn't see it coming.

I've been thinking heaps over this past month and I've had 2 breakups. Both long distance and lasted for about a year each. Other than that they were two very different guys. Well they both are native English speakers and both are very full of themselves. I've spoken to a few of my close friends over this period of time and trying to make sense of why I seem to be attracted to morons. Well they never are in the beginning are they. So the long distance thing is dragging it out, as I would of seen their true colors much earlier if we spent more time together. As you normally do when dating etc. Good thing about this situation is I'm off the hook on the- not talking to whom I want to- agreement. That is a huge stone of my shoulders. FREEDOM!!

Unfortunetaly this has turned into a very nasty break up ( and I've never really had a nasty break up before ) and even though I'm trying my hardest to keep a smile on my face it can be hard at the best of times. I'm absolutley guttered this has affected the boys. And that is something I will never forget. I have to live with being the one delivering the bad news and they will probably not understand for a long time. The trust they had in us is gone and the look in their eyes makes me want to cry. Cannot even describe the feeling. I'm here to pick up the pieces of the shattered hopes and love they had. Thanks heaps.

I have come to realize that other people’s problems are not yours. If you have a strong sense of empathy and intuition, like I do, you probably feel obligated to help solve everyone else’s problems. However it's not on you to do so. If the person doesn't want to help himself  or worse doesn't see the issue, then move along cuz there is nothing you can do about it.  Keep going; everything happens for a reason. Even if you feel that life is merely one catastrophe after another, all of these difficulties only serve to test us and make us stronger. They enable us to handle future situations in a better way, and teach us valuable lessons about life. Without struggles, we would not experience growth as human beings. Pain is temporary. Any situation never lasts forever, whether that be a bad breakup, financial struggles or other issues. No matter what you might be going through, console yourself by remembering that you are the master of your emotions.
You can choose to see the silver lining in any situation, and transmute the pain into an opportunity for growth. Or just dwell in self pitty. Negative people often do that. And it's pathetic.
I am sunshine...never forget that!
No amount of worry will change the situation. It will only leave room for more negative energy and more obstacles to enter your life. Keep a positive mindset and trust that the universe only sends you the experiences that you need to help you transform into the best version of yourself.
We attract what we feel and what we are. Keep in mind that rainbows only show up after a rain, so you must weather the rain in order to recognize the lessons it holds.

“The problem isn’t the problem. It’s your attitude about the problem.” – Captain Jack Sparrow
If you let yourself get into a negative mindset, you will fall into a victim mentality. Resolve to keep your mood up despite your current situation, and the negativity will not have any power over you anymore. I wish more people would take this to heart as it's so true. Then again negative people will always see the problem and not the solution. Thank lawd I'm the solutionist....
