It hasn't been an easy time for me in Oz. It was times I wished I were somewhere else. Cultural and personal issues and lack of money made the stay there sometimes unbearable. It's been a challenge and hopefully I've grown stronger because of it.
Id like to say thank you to Sarah that has put up with the bullshit along the way and been my stand in partner in crime once or twice. Especially when Trav was away working.
And I really appreciate you having me and the boys there. The boys had a great time and I'm forever grateful for that.
I spent the last days by myself as Travie was at work. That sucked but it is what it is. I got to see the great Aussie summer storms just before I left too. Sarah and I went out in the storm to watch the amazing lightning. It was very pretty...and grand.
I was a bit worried that my flight would get cancelled because of the lightning but luckily on the night of my departure it wasn't as massive.
I flew with Qatar airways. They are truly one of the best airlines I've ever flown with. 22 hours from Perth to Copenhagen. One stop in Doha. Perfect.
Anna, the absolut sweetheart, came and got me in Malmö. Getting the train from Denmark to Sweden was so easy.
Got home and i hadn't slept since Wednesday at 11pm swedish time and I went to bed at 9 pm Friday. A lot of waken hours. I felt slightly intoxicated.
Well why stop when you're on a roll??
Saturday after approx 5 hours sleep in total I went to Tony and Malins to watch the premier of the swedish melodyfestival. Vivi and Anna came too.
We had dinner and heaps of vodka/redbull. A fantastic welcome back I have to say. I got so many cuddles and kisses I got a bit overwhelmed.
It's nice to have been missed.
After a lot of drinks I went to bed at 7am.
My brain is at this point non functioning.
I got up at 10am and honestly.. It's Tuesday today and I'm still jet lagged and pretty wacked. I'm turning in early tonight.
It sucks going to bed alone. Best feeling when you have a chest to rest your head or someone spooning you. That's when I sleep best anyway. I always wrap my legs around my boyfriends legs. Like snakes. It's not for everyone but I like to sleep close. And yes it get warm and if you're claustrophobic I might not be your cup of tea. Breathe...I can't breathe. So while my bf is gasping for air and is overheating I'm sleeping like a baby. Thanks!!
It is hard to have your boyfriend on the other side of the world.
My mind has dug through heaps of questions. We knew we'd need to deal with heaps of issues if we want to be together—ambitious career paths, jealousy, insecurities, immigration papers, money, languages, cultural differences, time apart etc.
It‘s not easy to keep up with the constant uncertainty of the future, and I often feel tired of external factors that hinder us.
But it has also dawned on me that I can’t make myself the victim of circumstances. We need to keep putting our heads up high and take the distance as our current external state that shapes us but will change eventually. Or that is the aim.
I don’t deny that living on two different continents, and can‘t have brekkie in bed or spontaneous weekend trips to the beach is neither peachy nor fun. It's fucking hard especially if there are issues in the relationship that needs to be addressed. How do you do that if you can't see each other face to face?
Nobody says it is going to be easy — the extra distance makes many things unachievable. Things could get complicated, and you could get sad and lonely at times, what do we want to achieve at the end of the day? “How long are we going to be apart?” “What about the future?” These are the questions we need to ask ourselves. The truth is, no couple can be in a long distance relationship for forever.

I always wished for a wonderful man with a beautiful character who loves me for who I am. I hope this is it and worth the God damn hassle it has been. It's important to share views on life and share the crazy.
If one is more open than the other it could become a huge issue. For instance social media....like facebook or my blog. As you know I'm very open about most things. So I'm thinking Like each other’s photos on Facebook and Instagram.
Tag each other. Share things on each other’s walls. Show that you care.
Be cool about stalking each other. STALKING IS CARING....or is it??? I think it's cute to post lovey-dovey messages on walls or leave comments.
Facebook is da shit. What ever did we do before Facebook??? And now you can even call from it too. The progress the progress..
Sexual tension is undoubtedly one of the most important things between couples. Sexual desire is like a glue that keeps both parties from drifting apart. Not only is sex a biological need, it is an emotional one as well. Keep the flames burning by sending each other teasing texts filled with sexual innuendos and provocative descriptions. Sexy puns work pretty well tho. Dirty talk is underrated. And photos/videos are fun too.
