How about this heat

It's been a great couple of days in Gothenburg. Sunny and around +28. Lovely. I went for a walk the other day in the woods with Anna, Oliver and Razmus. Luqas and Alyiah was yet again at the theme park. ( I am getting broke coz he is going so often ) Went to maccas and then had ice creme (Noooo, I did not eat at maccas...i'd rather starve ) The we went to Anna's and the boys cuddled with the rats. And one of them pooped on Oliver. He freaked out. Mohahahahahaha.....

And I went to Lena and Bettan in husqvarna to see baby Elizia. She was unbelievably cute. My goodness. 

We sat on the lawn for a bit and chatted and then we went to Jönköping to see Peter and Johan. So we had our miniature Kamala at the shores of Vättern. It was real good to see them.

Anna was here yesterday. I made massaman gai and Italian chicken. And wine of course. The weather was so nice that we spend all evening on the balcony. 

Might have been a bit loud as we spoke on the speaker phone to friends. And we laughed quite a lot. So I got a note from one of my neighbors this morning. 

( I'm sorry....I'll try to be less loud in the future you cranky son's of bitches ) 

Texting with my favorite Aussie at 5am. So waking up at 8.30am sucked. 

But the weather was sooo nice we had to haul our bums out for a walk in the sun. So we went to the ocean. Beautiful. 

The boys are making a cheesecake. I'm starving so I'm all good with them doing that. And I'm making taco for dinner tonight. And then dying on the couch for a bit. 

I can't wait to see my inked favorite Aussie. Time goes by so slow when you're waiting for something. 

Finding someone you love and who loves you back is a wonderful, wonderful feeling. But finding a true soul mate is an even better feeling. A soul mate is someone who understands you like no other, loves you like no other, will be there for you forever, no matter what. They say that nothing lasts forever, but I am a firm believer in the fact that for some, love lives on even after we’re gone.

One life......

I had a rather interesting conversation today with one of my best girl friends. We have been friends for many years and we talk about anything and everything. 

Topic of this conversation was love and finding it. She has recently found it and I am very happy for her. She deserves it. We spoke about many different aspects of finding love. You never know when it's gonna hit you and where it will happen. 

Fall in love with someone who loves the way you laugh and would do absolutely anything to hear it. Fall in love with someone who puts their head on your chest just to hear your heart beat. Fall in love with someone who kisses you in public and is proud to show you off to anyone they know. Fall in love with someone who would never ever want to hurt you. Fall in love with someone who falls in love with your flaws and thinks you are perfect just the way you are. Fall in love with someone who thinks that you are the ONE they would love to wake up to each day.

It’s not about finding someone who won’t fight with you, or make you mad or sad. It’s about finding the person who will be standing there wiping the tears away, holding you in their arms after a fight and the one who will not walk out on the first sign of trouble.

If you love someone, you tell them. Even if you’re scared it's not mutual. Even if you’re scared that it’ll cause problems. Even if you’re scared that it will burn your life to the ground, you say it, and you say it loud and you go from there. 

I tell my mates I love them as often as I can. If not in person I say it over phone or in a text. You never know what's going to happen so say it while you have a chance. I tell my boys every day. It's important. Just as important as it is to not go to bed angry or sad. Fix the problem before you sleep. 

Since I am having 'that time of the month' ( I hate that expression btw ) I thought I'd share this with you. Which happens to be freakishly correct. 

I'm sure you're all so very happy to know I'm on my period. I mean you can start taking notes of it and keep track. I barely do it myself. And also.....Nobel prize to the inventor of the freezer and marabou Schweitzernöt chocolate. What would I do without you in these distressful times?

Weekend

This weekend has been real nice.

I had Alyiah and Oliver on friday to Saturday. Luqas and Aly went to the theme park while Me and the younger boys were home watching a movie and pigging out on snacks. It was nice to have them over. Always a pleasure. Saturday we went for a walk in the woods. The weather was great. Warm and sunny. We found a dead mouse. That was both sad and exciting at the same time said the kids. Im not sure how exciting i would find a dead mouse bit yeah sure...why not.

Saturday evening we went to Tony and Malin's after I dropped off Aly and oli at their dad's.
We bbqd chicken while the others had crayfish. And wine of course. Out on the patio.
I played with the kids before dinner. It's fun to run around and jump on the trampoline.
I got heaps of kisses from Leo.

As the night went on Tony brought out the rhubarb vodka. By that time the boys had gone to bed. And Viveca had rocked up too. She became drunk really fast ( and she brags about being from the north of Sweden....where they drink vodka like soda ) At that point I had drunk 8 shots and a fair amount of wine. Its quite accurate to state that we all were pretty pissed come midnight. But it was good fun.
So please dear young readers....it is by no means fun to get this drunk and silly the day after. Always remember there is a day after. Then you wish you were dead. So drink with moderation...

Sunday morning wasn't too bad. I woke up early but stayed in bed until I had to get up coz I was getting a phone call from Oz.
Had breakfast and went home to get Optimus and Cristoffer to go for a walk around lake Sisjon.

The boys actually went for a swim. First swim of the year. Well done. They almost died doing it tho.
I wouldn't do it no fucken way. I'll swim when I get home shortly. At least it's proper hot there.

Optimus is such a wuss. He barely got in the water. My dog Dizney loved to swim. He dove in.
I missed Dizney today. Like heart ache miss him you know.....

Realize

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won’t anymore, and who always will. And in the end you learn who is fake, who is true and who would risk it all for you.

I am excited to go home, for more reasons than one this time. I can't wait. 

The clock is ticking. So spend it wisely. Make the most of today. To realize the value of one year, ask a student who failed a grade. To realize the value of one month, ask a mother who’s expecting a baby. To realize the value of one hour, ask people who love each other waiting to meet. To realize the value of one minute, ask a person who missed their plane. To realize the value of one millisecond, ask the Olympic winner of the silver medal. Treasure each and every moment that you have; time waits for no one.

And don't let something amazing pass you by. 

I'm spending my arvo with my boys and Optimus. Walk around the lake. Perfect Sunday. I must remember to bring the camera. If I'm lucky Optimus will swim with the boys.
