I don't feel so great today. For different reasons. So my amazing friend took me shopping to cheer me up. And tonight he is watching horror movies with me. He really is fantastic.
So pillows and blanketts are already on the couch. Snacks and drinks are yet to be prepared. And then we're all set to go.

Getting ready for Songkran

Leave it behind??

Long live Etch a Sketch, the timeless wonder, and low tech gadget for wiping the slate clean. Think about Etch a Sketch from a personal perspective. Some things are easy to erase; like words in a document, or a piece of paper that you burn. But haunting memories and lingering regrets are much more stubborn.

There are things that happened in the past and no matter how hard you shake your head you can’t undo them and the memory remains. Horrible memories sometimes. There are regrets; things you knew you could do but didn’t, and things you wish you didn’t do but did. Maybe because you were left with no other choice. Regret is a stubborn stain, annoying like nails on a chalkboard, infiltrating your memory like a dripping tap.

It’s worthwhile to spend SOME time thinking about the past. That’s how we learn and understand why things happened the way they happened. How do you know when your regret has become a problem?

When you can’t shake it. When it begins to take over your waking and sleeping life. When you feel powerless to make different choices. This is no way to live, in fact it is barely even being alive at all.

X-rated thoughs

After a conversation today I thought I'd be a bit provocative.

You know that feeling when you’re having sex with someone for the first time in a long time? That weirdness?
Or maybe that’s just me....
Anyway, for me there’s a weirdness. Even if it's ex sex.
Up and personal but hey...Im just saying what most of you are thinking.
Yeah. That.
Maybe it's easier to have ex sex. You already know each other well enough. Or maybe you want the excitment of not knowing. Could be awful sex or the best sex you've had..ever. Or you stick to who you know. Whatever float your boat I suppose.
This song came to mind. I know someone that went there cuz it was FAMILIAR. Yeah?!! Whoop whoop....

I’ve often jokedwith my mates that the recently separated/divorced men seem to be going through a second adolescence. After years of marriage, they embrace their newfound freedom and well… sometimes act like teenagers. Or like some people I know that haven left it eventhough they are grown ass people. Shame on you!
Lately… I seem to be back to living with that self-doubt. I know it has a lot to do with the changes in my life. And the collateral affect that’s had on my life. I walk into a room and it feels different now. Maybe it shouldn’t. But it does.
I gotta say, I’m really not diggin it. This phase, or whatever it is. It’s been going on for way too long. And it’s eating up way too much of my energy. What a freakin waste.
So Im taking charge of My life and I am going to start saying YES more.
I got a Skype call from S.A today. And got some news I wasn't expecting. But I am going to see that as possitive news and I am going to look forward to it. Fate?? I dunno.

Tomorrow I am going to go shopping with my girl Malin. I need some new clothes, dresses to be exact. And tops. So checking out spring fashion is gonna be fun.
Note-to-self..Wear a good bra and hipsters. Preferably sneakers and button shirt. And light make up.
Dressing rooms are a selfesteem killer. A murderer with no intention of showing mercy.

It's gonna be an early night tonight. I am absolutly nackered and it's the last night the boys are here this week. So I will go and snuggle with them. That is the best feeling. To have your children cuddle you and offer to warm my ice cold feet. Now that is love!!

Not long now....

One of the best and worst times of my life has been in Phuket.

My favorite job was when I worked at a school in Kamala. I loved doing that. The children gave me so much love and I enjoyed every moment of it. I had fantastic coworkers. All thai and I loved that too. It was never a drag going to work. Sometimes parents would call me to give me feedback and just tell me how happy they were to have their children in my class. One parent even said I could use them as references. WOW!!
Anyway that is one of my favorite times that I always will cherish. Thank you for giving me the opportunity.

Falling in love has been both the best and worst. But one of the very few things I’ve learned about men and relationships is that the words they say don’t really mean much. Not really. It’s what they DO that matters.  So a man who treats you poorly but then says nice things… he’s probably not a good person to build a long term relationship with. Because when it comes right down to it, words don’t mean much.
And if a guy doesn’t understand HOW to treat a women right, make her feel respected and treasured as opposed to taken for granted, then he isn’t worth your time in the first place. Just had to get that out....

Met some amazing people that I have become good friends with. Thank god for Viber and Skype :)

I’m a nostalgic person. I grow attached to things because of experiences. Never objects, really (besides music). When I say things, I usually mean physical locations or events or even people. I get very sentimental and emotional when I’m at a place that holds great memories in my past.
I feel a sense of contentment when I drive past the house I lived in with my boys or Angel. I even smile when I pass the exit that leads to the first house I lived in. I dredd how I will feel when I pass my unit I lived in last with the boys and Sir Fuckedintheface. I have such nice memories from that place.

My friend Sussy and I were asked to shoot this Video in Karon.
I ended up taking my boss´ daughter as she is a huge fan of Markoolio and I wanted her to meet him.
I got Markoolio to sign a baby jumpsuit for her newborn nephew as she was to starstruck to ask him herself.
It was fun to be a part of.

Wtf?!

Friday arvo Razmus and I drove to Tony and Malin's. We had decided to bbq. First time in almost 3 yrs. ( in Phuket there are not many bbq's held. ) I had marinated chickenbreasts and they had pork tenderloin wraped in bacon and halloumi cheese with honey. Massive sallad with feta cheese and my home baked carrot bread. I stuffed my face.
Had a couple of drinks while watching let's dance. Seriously...I would eat German bacon to get on that show. How awesome are they!! Totally bootylicious.
Unfortunately one contestant has stolen my haircolor idea. I never seen her in my life. Jasmine something. Who da fuck is she? A midget with my color idea.
Well just goes to show she has amazing taste and seems to be a fun girl.

Yesterday I took the boys on a little sightseeing trip to the Island we are moving to shortly. I gotta say, it was pretty sweet. Behind my house there is a forrest. And it has a running track and a creek. I can't wait to go for a walk...yes walk...if you think I'll be doing any running, think again!! Powerwalks is da shit. I did those when I lived in Phuket. In the mornings. I walked around the village. And I took walks on the beach. Man, I miss that so bad. Which reminds me. I have to look for a bikini. Preferably pink. And halterneck. Insh Allah..also some bling!!!

Here is some info for ya'll.

"Get a Faster Facebook. Update your app."

Big green button, angering me for the last few

days when I pulled up the Facebook app on my phone, so today, I decided to gave in. Fine, Facebook, I'll update my app.

Normally, I don't read these things. I just click "Accept" and go on about my day. But today was different. Maybe it was because the nice bright green 'NEW' caught my attention. For whatever reason, I decided to actually see what this new Facebook update wanted from me and from my phone.

Huge WTF moment.

Item #1- Facebook wants to read my text messages. Why does Facebook need to read my text messages? What possible reason could these asshats come up with that would logically explain WHY facebook needs to know about my best friend's and my conversation about how much our cramps suck, or how we send each other pic that we just don't feel are appropriate for the entire world to see plastered all over our Facebook walls? If someone from Facebook comes across this post and could so graciously answer that question for me, I'd be forever grateful. Until that happens, I'm just going to have to assume that the people at Facebook are pervs who want to catch as many nudie pics that are sent from one consenting horny adult to another, so they have material for their pathetic spank banks.

Item #2- Facebook wants to read confidential information in my phone and contact card, as well as update everyone on my friend's list, without my consent, as to new things I put on my personal calendar. Anyone here watch the TV show "Parenthood"? In one episode, the couple with the special needs child syncs their phone calendars together, and the woman tentatively schedules "Funkytown" (sex) into their hectic week. I'm not a person who schedules sex, but if I did, in the privacy of my own phone, I really don't want Facebook accessing that private entry and then inviting all of my friends to it without my knowledge. I know my friends. They'd show up, with popcorn, because Facebook invited them. Not something I'd like happen, nor do I want 50,000 messages of "Is your vag okay?" after I schedule my gyno appointment for the year. Yes, my friends would do that, too.

The rest of the update seemed pretty harmless, but that didn't matter. The first two were all I needed to hit 'Cancel'. There was NO way in hell I was allowing Facebook to read my texts, no matter how insubstantial or trivial, and no way in hell they are accessing my calendar to change it (notice it said 'Add or modify calendar events,' too) or notify my friends of its contents without my knowledge. That's just..
Wrong.
There's no other word for it. No other word for it except for those of the more adult variety that my kids would have their mouths washed out with soap for saying.

Read my text messages and email my friends the contents of my calender, with confidential information, without my knowledge. WTF?

And how many of you installed this most recent update, without even reading what you were allowing facebook to do to you? If I were you, I'd uninstall it immediately before you have friends showing up at your house for some scheduled Funkytown...

Or before Facebook Funkytowns you... with no lube... by invading your privacy by reading your texts... and sharing your confidential calendar info.
