Bye bye bye....

So I went into Patong this morning to say goodbye to my very dear friend Rachel. She is heading back to England from Oz but stopping in different countries on the way. It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know her. Annoying as she can be ( especially when on the piss ) she is a great friend that I'm sure I will keep for the rest of my life. Im going to London to see her in a couple of months anyways.

So we had a going away party for Rach the other day. Had dinner and wine in patong. Went to Monsoon to meet up with Nick. It was a good night. A long night and a long morning.
We danced and hugged and just had a blast.

Rach and Falida ( who went home fairly early )got a little too wankered so I went with Nick and Luke to Tiger. Then we wentto Taipan and I got invited up to have drinks with the owners. They had a whole god damn table filled with expensive alcohol...and what do I do?? I said Im not impressed and Got a glas of wine. God knows what we did but it was light when we left. I rode home with Luke and we sat at the house all morning just chatting and having a good time. An Aussie and an Englishman and a Swede. Hot damn!!

After I said bye to Rach I tried to wake Falida up but she is useless. So I went home. Nick and I went for a great bike ride. I love going on bike rides. We went up north. North east to be exact. I have never been there. Ao Po pier. It was like coming into mainland. Very beautiful.
Chelsea and Danyelle.

Stopped and had lunch in Bang Tao on the way back. Im pleased about how this day's been.

Been invited to Daniel's tonight. I might go. It would be nice to chill and chat. Or have a swim in the pool. Or maybe watch a movie....

Once again I have to treat you to this FANTASTIC song that is representing Sweden in this years ESC in Denmark. Listen and get your goosedumps on. Listen to what she is saying. Gets to me every time..

Went to immigration the other day in Phuket town. Falida drove me as I am terrible at finding my way in PT. So better to have 4 eyes instead of two...and it's also nicer to have company when you get lost. We drove around for at least 30 minutes, like two idiots, looking for immigration. I sat there in my bikini scouting on cruella while poor Falida drove down god knows how many sois.

We finally found it and as usual it was crowded. I hate going to immigration. I had one day overstay and with the extended visa I had to cash out 2500 baht. Seriously...I would of been better of going to Singers and getting an additional 30 days.
Note-to-self DO NOT EVER PAY 2500 AGAIN. GO TO SINGERS!!!

One thing I have been wanting to do is to go to Big Buddha. I have always found it healing to go there. And I needed some healing. To breathe. To rid myself of a heavy heart.
The view from there is stunning. Overlooking Chalong bay.
So Rachel and I went. It was weird driving there as I have driven that way many many times but for another reason. My bf at the time lived there. The road to his house has changed a bit.

I did what I normally do when I go to BB. I went to temple and I went to the monk to get a blessing. I know it sounds like I am nuts but having a monk chanting while he throws water on you with sticks is an experiance I wish for everyone (Almost everyone...if the shoe fits..)
It was a very emotional day for me.
Im glad Rachel was by my side. She just sat beside me up at one of the shrines while I had a moment.

For the innocent, the past may hold a reward. But for the treacherous, it’s only a matter of time before the past delivers what they truly deserve.
