As I'm lying in my bed with the bestest boys in the world, looking at them, hearing them breathe and getting punched in the face or slapped by Razmus I got thinking about my life and life in general. And love. We all need love to grow. Love for yourself and loving others. And getting it in return.
The first place we lose the battle is in our own thinking. If you think it’s permanent, then it’s permanent. If you think you’ve reached your limits, then you have. If you think you’ll never get well, then you won’t. You have to change your thinking. You need to see everything that’s holding you back, every obstacle, every limitation as only temporary. Positive thinking.
I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not, never have...because I’m good at being me. I might not be proud of some of the things I’ve done in the past, but I’m proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect, but I don’t need to be. Take me as I am or watch me as I walk away.Intimacy is not who you let touch you. Intimacy is who you text at 3am about your dreams and fears. ( or the slap in the face you just got from your son that woke you up ) Intimacy is giving someone your attention, when ten other people are asking for it. Intimacy is the person always in the back of your mind, no matter how distracted you are. The one you can bare your soul to without getting judged. That's a hard thing to do. I have issues with that.
If you find someone who makes you smile, who checks up on you often to see if you’re ok, who watches out for you and wants the very best for you. Don’t let them go. Keep them close and don’t take them for granted. People like that are hard to find.
Fall in love with someone who wants you and cherishes you. Someone who understands you even in the madness; someone who helps you, and guides you. Someone who is your support, your hope. Fall in love with someone who forgives you after an argument. Fall in love with someone who misses you and wants nothing else than to be with you. Do not fall in love only with a body or with a face; fall in love with a heart and soul. True love knows no distance, beauty face and body size, it’s all about what you feel inside your heart and accepting someone for who they are. You don't have to agree with each other
However with that said there has to be an attraction. Mentally and of course physically.
