Midsummer and that...

So the biggest holiday in Sweden has come to pass. We were lucky this year as it didn't rain. But on the other hand this was the first midsummer in 5 years I've celebrated in Sweden. Last year I was working. 

Spent this year with at Tony's with all the children. I made a strawberry cake. And we BBQ'd and had schnapps. The rhubarb one. Like lemonade. Dangerous.  

A little while back I received a, what I felt was a sincere, apology from Trav. Which I really appreciated. 
So we have been talking for a week or so. Trying to figure things out. Emphasis on trying. 
It's not easy when you are different in a lot of ways and also having it on such a long distance. 
It's very challenging and we'll see how we go. 

You don’t ever have to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn’t matter whether someone is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend, or a new acquaintance — you don’t have to make room for people who cause you pain or make you feel small. It’s one thing if a person owns up to their behavior and makes an effort to change. But if a person disregards your feelings, ignores your boundaries, and continued to treat you in a harmful way, they need to go. But hopefully it won't come to that. I have faith in him. 

Oh lawd...I'm going to eat these words later aren't I?! 

Went to the movies on Sunday. Jurassic World. It was ok. Very well made. Razmus loved it. Luqas thought it was ok. I was an idiot tho. Now I don't have gas money for this week. But the kids had a good time, so it was worth it.
