Beautiful day

Had another early night last night. Watched Zero.Dark.Thirty, A movie about the hunt for Osama bin Landen. A good movie. Had some cheese doodles ( thank you to my darling boys that brought it from Sweden ) and "saft".

So I am hitting the beach in a minute. Have a walk on the beach is one of my favorite things to do when I have lots on my mind. Just looking at the mountains that surrounds Kamala beach is breathtaking.

I might look like an idiot when I´m walking and singing to myself. Sometimes I wish that I could bust a move too. Just dance away to awesome music. I think I´d be picked up by the police if I did.
-No, officer. I am NOT drunk nor high. I promise.

I did that once last year when I lived at Nana Chard. I sang and danced around the compound for like 2 hours. The house got cleaned and my mood improved by 100%. So I don´t care if my neighbours thought I was drunk. I can actually make a fool ( or have fun....put it how ever u want ) out of myself sober. Who cares???

Anyway.....  :)

Have a cleaning lady coming today ( thank god ) so Ima hit the beach now.

Koh Samui

So Ms Rachel and I decided to take a break from stuff and go for a holiday. Yes, even if you live in Thailand a holiday is needed. Clearing your head and just to get away is good for you.

Anyway....

Took a minivan to Surrat Thani ( Minivan was soo much better than the bus I took last time ) from Surrat we took a boat to Koh Samui. Bus ride was about 5-6 hours and boat ride about 1,5 hours.

When we arrived in Samui we took another minivan to Chaweng beach ( NEVER book a minivan on the mainland, much cheaper to just catch a ride when you arrive in Samui )

We wanted to stay close to the center of Chaweng i.e the nightlife and restaurants. So we ended up at a guesthouse 2 sois from the busy soi green mango. We had been warned about loud music but how bad could it be? It was pretty bad. Room was cheap so we sucked it up. Great staff though. Anong guesthouse.

We went to Green Mango, which is the biggest club with 2 dancefloors and 2 different dj´s. I love the music and the place in general. Drinks were kinda expensive.
Met 2 Kiwi´s the first night ( Kiwi is a person from New Zealand ). Or one was half thai/kiwi but lived in the U.S. We hung out with them and had a blast, until it became early morning and someone came up with the brilliant idea to go to the beach. I was getting really tired and one of the guys had come on to me and I turned him down so it was a bit akward. I left like 8 am and Ms R rocked up at 11 am.

Spent the day walking around Chaweng. Eating at horrible restaurants. (food in Samui wasn´t that great )
Nighttime we went to Ark bar. That was amazing. They had fire twirlers and the music was pumping. A fantasic night. Met up with 2 swedish girls we met the night before.( wonderful gilrs Emma and Patricia )
and we hung out with the fire twirlers after the show. I must say that these guys were absolutly the best I´ve ever seen. Very impressed. So if you are in Chaweng on a Wednesday you should really check out the Ark Bar.

Thurday we rented a motorbike and just drove around the Island. Went to NaMuang waterfalls. Stunning.
Drove around for hours. Love it.

Went back to Phuket on friday. Rachel wanted to spend her last weekend in Phuket. And probably with a certain someone.... :)

I didn´t get much sleep, got a late night phonecall, so I felt a bit rough on the way back.

All n all I had a wonderful time in Koh Samui. Met a lot of awesome people and I got to spend quality time with my girl. Oh, I´m gonna miss her soooo much. Gives me heartache to think about it.

Gonna miss u like crazy. U better be back here within 4 months.
