Luqas' birthday

Cannot believe he is 11 already. Time goes by so fast. Im really proud of my son, he is a smart, polite, handsome and most important caring boy.

As always we started the celebrations by singing to Luqas at 6 am. ( he had already been up since 4.30am ) and he got his super awesome bike. He was super excited and he loved the bike. ( he better... It cost half a salary)
Then we had breakfast and I sent the boys to school.

I went to the doctor's and it actually is looking better. But it's gonna leave a nasty scar.

Got an e-mail from my wonderful friend in Thailand ( actually he is from Oz) and that brightened up My day.

I went out of My way to make a casserole for dinner. Takes forever to make it. (And it turned out beautiful. :)
I made a cake. With fresh blueberries and vanilla cream.( Wasn't too thrilled about it, but the others piged out on it.)

When Joacim got home from work, we surprized Luqas by taking him to the mall with My brother. There the kids got a sufficiant amount of money from uncle Stoffe to get video games. Yes, Razmus got a pre-birthday gift. Very sweet of My brother, thank you!
So games to play on his birthday PS3. Yey!!! Happy happy happy....

We didn't have a big birthday party today, given the current situation. But My mom and brother came over for cake.

This has got to be the greatest birthday ever for Luqas. And if this is getting to be a trend, Ima be cash-starved before long. (Last year he got a laptop)
It's not me trying to overcompensate.

After a nice dinner, I prepared some snacks and drinks. We were supposed to go and see a movie but we decided to have a nice family movie night at the house. We watched "snow white and the huntsman". A good movie. Razmus got scared a couple of Times. Hehehe..

The kids wanted to spend the night at My brother's. Of course they could!

All and all it was a wonderful day and Luqas was over the moon.

He would like to say thank you to everyone that has one way or the other wished him a happy birthday.

( I can't post pictures right now since My keyboard hasn't arrived yet, but I Will do it asap )

Luqas' birthdaygift hunt

We have decided on what to get Luqas for his birthday and now we just have to find it. So after I Pick Joacim up from work, we are heading to backaplan ( a mall close to his Job ) to search for it. Please let us find it fairly fast. Since Ive been walking around kungsmässan today and getting gifts for friends. My knee needs some TLC.

Im guessing Luqas is gonna love his birthday gifts. It's just too bad that there are some friends that he cant invite. Some are still in Thailand and some live in Stockholm ( why do you wanna live there when you can live in the great city of Gothenburg?!)

But Luqas will hopefully get to ser them all soon.....

So tomorrow morning It's breakfast in bed for Luqas. With mommys lovely morning voice singing happy birthday.

So another 2 weeks of medication and bandage. Great!!

I got a car..

....for the day at least. That felt awesome. Got to borrow Jocke´s car since I had to take Luqas to the dentist. Walking that far with a pettish boy, in rain, wasn´t something I was looking forward to.

It was weird driving. I actually drove on the wrong side (ie left side) for a while before I realized what I was doing. :)

Drove Jocke to work at little past 6 am this morning. Yawn.....Thank god for morning radio.

Went to the doctor´s and got a new bandage. The wound is looking better but not even close of healing up. It always stings extra and itches when I got the wound cleaned. Pain in the...

I was a bit tired after walking in the rain ( how hard can it be to buy an umbrella?? If only I had someone to remind me.... ;) ) and I went straight to bed.
Tried to clear my head and get stuff off my chest with a phone call. That phone call turned out to be not as insightfull as I had hoped. If two are having an altercation, you have got to meet each other half way, right?? I would think that´s fair.

Luqas was as I said at the dentist today to have a look at his overbite and get his braces fixed. It took 10 minutes. So praise the lord that a had the car.....

Had a broker here today and she loved my house.....who wouldn´t?!
We went through basic stuff and it felt ok.

It rained today. With thunder and lightning. I like to be inside and cozy up on the sofa or lay in bed and just listen to the sound. Did that in Thailand too.....a lot. And watched "Criminal minds" seasons....5 to be exact. When we didn´t have a power outage, which happened from time to time.

After the kids goes to bed we are just chilling and watching TV and have snacks. Nice to do that.
I can borrow the car tomorrow as well. Yey!! THANK YOU.
Might drive to a mall 30 min from my house.  Feels so good that I can drive without pain. :)

Nu så

Efter att haft skrivit på Engelska ett tag så känner jag för att göra att special inlägg på Svenska. För hur det än är så är det lättare att skriva och uttrycka sig på sitt modersmål. Inte sant?!

Igår hade jag en otroligt skön slappdag. Inte för att jag var überbakis eller nått....icke! men jag har sovit så otroligt dåligt sen jag kom till Sverige och så rökte jag waaaay too much i fredags. Jag har ju tänkt att vara på detox nu. Och vänja kroppen vid att äta kött ( njaaa...jag äter minimalt fortfarande, självklart ekologisk ) kylan och inte röka utan ett glas vin i handen. Borde sluta röka över huvudtaget. Gud så dumt!
Traskade omkring i mina fatpants och håret stod åt alla håll och kanter. Ingen vacker syn kan jag meddela. Helst när man ska försöka göra sig presentabel och piggna till med ett härligt bad. Jag hade skrattat ihjäl mig om detta filmades. Jag måste ta ett ben i badet ( som gör ont dessutom) och sen doppa röven långsamt, dvs hasa ner arslet i vattnet för armen gör ju ont med. Sen ligga med ett ben utanför badet, dvs rakt upp i luften nästan. Ja, ni ser säkert framför er hur detta ser ut. Not pretty!!

Hursomhelst så var det en gudomlig slappar dag. Men jag lyckades faktiskt sminka min väns dotter till en vampyr, dammsuga och passa en hund. Rätt bra jobbat, don´t you think?! :)

Joacim åkte på en fest på eftermiddagen och tillika övernattning. Hos vem har jag ingen aning.
Vilket lämnade mig med barnen. Mys mys.... Men sen visade det sig att Luqas ville åka till sin vän och leka. Absolut, tänk inte på din mamma inte :(
Nej då, jag fick lite egentid med Razmus. Det var härligt. Vi satte på Ice age 3 och drack varm choklad mjölk och åt bullar. ( Tack Anna )



På kvällen efter läggning av barnen så kom en ensamhet över mig. Det var jobbigt. Låg och tänkte på saker som jag inte vill tänka på. Blev både arg och ledsen. Men som tur är så är man väl en viking och what doesn´t kill you makes you stronger.

Hittade en video till en låt som jag gillar. En vacker och uttrycksfull sång.

Allas våran Rihanna växer och växer i mina ögon hela tiden.
