Loving life

Going on my second week in Canberra and I'm loving it. Malcolm is taking me out pretty much every day on sightseeings. Compared to Perth it's way more beautiful here. It's green and the mountains and hills are just picture perfect. I get so excited every time he's taking me somewhere. We don't know where we'll end up. Saw heaps of Wild roo's the other day. I was like a child at Xmas. Mal warned me to get too close as they will attack me if I scare them.
Almost everyone of my Aussie friends told me that Canberra is a shit-hole. I'd get bored and it's not my kinda city.
Well maybe it isn't but I am loving it anyway. I'm not stuck in the house as I was in Perth. Today Malcolm is taking me to his 20.th school reunion. So I better represent lol. Hopefully I'll met some cool people and we can get a Halloween party going. Halloween is my favorite holiday.

Went to the movies last night. Paranormal activity. That used to freak me out. However this one was too unreal. They should've kept it spooky and not over do it. Sure, I jumped a few times and got scared. But jump scens are made to do that. Not scary throughout the movie.

Malcolm decided to get me a winners jersey the other day. It's so refreshing to not have someone trying to bully you out of a team you enjoy. And they won the grand final too. So now we have friendly competitions to look forward to.
The lady in the store was too funny. She gave Mal tips on where to take me and pretty much ordered him to take me on a date. I cracked up then.

More and better photos will be posted shortly. I've used my camera and not my phone.

I'm looking forward to this reunion thing tonight. Dressing up and that. Making the most of it. Carpe Diem....I’ll admit the Romans had a point. You gotta live life and living means that every morning when you wake up you have a choice. Between seizing what life offers in the moment and forging ahead no matter the weather or closing the curtains and shutting out the day.

Wishing you all a fantastic day.

Update

Sorry guys, I've been too lazy and too busy at times to blog. I'll better myself.

So I'm now in the land down under. But I'll talk about Phuket first.

I had a great time in Phuket. It was so nice to see old friends and just chill out. It's been very stressful the last couple of months. Very stressful is an understatement really.

So coming home and having mates that care for me was fantastic. Unfortunately there was a lot of smoke in Phuket when I was there. There was massive fires in Sumatra and all the smoke just went straight up to Phuket. In K-L they closed schools and people had to stay inside for days.
I got a mask the last days because it was too much and I could feel it in my lungs. Not good.

Getting blessed at Big Buddha with my sister

Went shopping with another new friend I made. Jessica from Sweden. It was fun to hang out with a Swede for once.

Had a look at Hakan new bar-lounge in Kamala. Looked good so hopefully he will get a lot of guests this high season. As always I had a few drinks at Aussie Pub. Pete and Toad are great guys.
Made a new friend. Brett. We've met before many times over the years but not really spoken. So we hung out a bit. Had a night out before I left for Oz. Jesus....ended up at a shabby bar on the far main road towards Surin. Oh well.....
Drove to big Buddha with Pii Naa to get some peace of mind. Got blessed by the monks and Pii Naa was a great sister to me that day. She gave me a couple of bracelets to give to Mal. Also blessed by monks. My sister is very Buddhist and she has has a good intuition. She told me a while back that I should move on as my situation was not giving her any good energy. And she was right. I should of done that. Emotionally I had done it. But you know...you always think things will change and it rarely doesn't. And it didn't. But I'm glad I walked away.

I had 40kg to take on the plane to Sydney. I got to 33kg's. I could barely close my suitcase. LOL
It took 8.5 hours to fly to Syndey from Phuket. I tried to sleep. I think I slept for 3 hours total. I flew with Jetstar. Everything you had to pay for. You werent even allowed to bring water on the plane. That shit me as I just bought one and some food. Luckily I got away with the peanuts cuz I spoke thai with the staff that searched my bags. I said that Jetstar were tight asses and they burst out laughing and we cracked jokes so they let me through. It's awesome to be able to speak a bit of thai sometimes.

Landed in Sydney at around 11am. I was sure that the customs would search me as last time so I declared all the shit I brought with me. Youre only allowed to bring 50 smokes and 2.5 litre of alcohol. Dumb ass rules. Anyway so the guy just asked me and I told him and he just let me through, like that. I got annoyed with myself that I didn't bring more smokes. The smokes here are INSANELY expensive.

Malcolm was waiting for me, the darling. First time we actually met in person. We have been talking for 1.5 years over texts and facetime. So it was nice to finally meet him.
He has been so fantastic and offered me to stay at his as long as I want since I was made homeless.

Big night

Mal had gotten a hotel at Bondi Beach. Too awesome. Had a stunning view overlooking the beach.
Went for a swim of course. I mean it's Bondi beach. I had to. Even though the water was just as cold as I remembered it to be. BRRRRRR!!!!

I had the best time at Bondi. Went out to dinner and had a few drinks at the different pubs in the area.
Went to the Sydney opera house. I've always wanted to see it. Something I can tick off my to do list. Thank you Malcolm.

Got invited our last night to a private party at the hotel. Very classy. Champagne and nice dresses. It ended up being a very big night. And we had to drive to Canberra on Saturday morning. Well that didn't happen. More likely mid arvo. lol. Poor Mally Cat felt the aftermath so bad.

So I'm staying in Queanbeyan which is just at the border to ACT, which is Australia's capital state.
So technically I'm in NSW but it's like 5 min to the border. So half the cars are registered in ACT.
The house is quite big, he shares it with his 2 brothers. One of the brothers is a really good footy player. ( check the link out ) All of the boys are footy nerds so it'll be fun to watch games with them or even go to one. I'm so happy the Cowboys won the grand final. Mal wants to get me a hoodie if not a Raiders one. Like it's ok. I need to learn the game properly first. I'm in good hands.

Mal mom Domenique and step dad Tony are absolutely amazing. They have made me feel so welcome and part of the family from the moment I met them. Ms Dom and I are so alike. Chatty and touchy. We get along great. Love her already.

Mal took me out for lunch in Canberra Friday. Then he took me dancing. What a great night. Danced till I got blisters. LOL Mal is a fantastic dancer. Had so much fun. We did merengue and salsa. And the hip hop of course. Twerking and jumping around. Dancing really is good for your soul. I feel soo good when I dance.

Why don't we have this in Sweden where it comes from??

Going out

At the club
Met two guys from Zimbabwe. Abs and Moses. We went to a strip club as the places closed. Talked to a chick named Tabitha for a bit. She was cool.

Ended up at home for a last drink and had to kick them out at 7am. Lol

I'm home

The day I was leaving was horrible. It kinda became real. The fears, the hopes, the let downs.
Since everything has changed I am now jumping in dark waters head first.
The only thing I can rely on is that I have a friend that will put me on life support for  a while. And mend what has been broken.
I got to Kamala late at night. Checked in and had a fantastic shower. The room is great. Big. A bit run down if you wanna get picky but I'm used to worse. This is Thailand after all.
I got picked up by a friend and we headed out for food, drinks and a catch up.
I got told that there is a rumor going around about how I stopped working at the school in Kamala. You know when you get that mad that you feel it bubbling up from your toes...that's how mad I got. As I loved that job. And the kids loved me. As did my coworkers. So I do not understand why a certain person would go and tell an outright lie as to why I stopped. The reason I got told was that the school no longer could pay my salary so I got three weeks to find another job.
Never mind that I had a house and bills. And two kids to feed.
I both love and hate this village. People should stop making shit up and mind their fucking business. Some people here just thrives on spreading lies and rumors.
GET A LIFE!!!!

Anyway, I had a great first night. A quite one but that's ok. I'd been up for 34 hours.

Next day I slept in. Got my bike around lunchtime and then drove to patong with Lena and the Beatle. Did errands and had a late lunch. I love patong. I just love it. The hustle and the people. I can't describe it, most people get annoyed and tired of it. It makes me smile.

I got great news yesterday. Nong Jack is in town. I didn't think I'd see him as he moved back to Bangkok early this year.
Jack is my tattoo artist. So now I gotta take this opportunity and get inked. I know what I want I just don't have the money for it.
Sucks getting ripped off with money, or fucked over is a better word.
Jack loves me so I'm sure we can work something out.

Tonight Dylan's club is having a grand opening so he invited me. So looks like an all nighter in Patong.

Leaving you with some pictures and thoughts of today. Thought a lot when I did my beach walk this morning. Such a good way to clear my head and think.

If only life was just a dress rehearsal and we had time for do-overs. We’d be able to practice and practice every moment until we got it right. Unfortunately, everyday of our lives is its own performance. It seems like even when we get the chance to rehearse and prepare and practice, we’re still never ready for life’s grand moments.

Twist and turn

These past weeks has been crazy. Literally! No sense at all. All the planning and the things I looked forward to kinda subsided because of it. Now I'm going alone, by choice. I've had enough dramas and I just want to be happy...alone. I'm off to new adventures. Not how I though it would be but I'll adapt.
There’s a reason I said I’d be happy alone. It wasn’t cause I thought I’d be happy alone. It’s just easier to be alone. Because what if you learn that you need love and then you don’t have it?
What if you like it, and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it, and then it falls apart.
Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It’s like dying.
The only difference is, death ends. This? It could go on forever.
I'm nearly done packing. I have a suitcase full of gifts that will not reach most of who it's intended to reach. That's a shame. But I'll just give some of it to others, I know that will be greatly appreciated.

Why do bad things happen to good people? We ask that question so often it’s become a cliche. But that’s because bad things do happen to good people, constantly. You just have to hope when it’s your turn, you’ll know what to do, how to cope, how to persevere. But the truth is, you don’t know how you will react to a worst case scenario. None of us do, not until it happens.
They say the truth will set you free. The truth is horrible, frightening; the truth is more than you can bear. I'm supposed to be straight with you so be careful what you ask. Because when you find out what’s really going on, you may never recover.
Luqas had his birthday Monday. And it was just like old times. Anna and her kids came over. We played games and ate. Talked and played guitar hero. We laughed and everything was peaceful for a moment. I felt so good that night.
The kids had so much fun. When my boys have fun my heart fills with joy. That's the best feeling ever.

My Halloween inspiration this year! Guess who it is....:)

How hard can it be???

Heard this song on the radio the other day and it just hit home for me. So if the shoe fits......

To all women.....

Dear Woman, Sometimes you’ll just be too much woman. Too smart. Too beautiful. Too strong. Too much of something. That makes a man feel like less of a man, which will start making him make you feel like you have to be less of a woman. Putting you down. Setting rules. The biggest mistake you can make is removing jewels from your crown to make it easier for the man to carry. When this happens, I need you to understand, you do not need a smaller crown — you need a man with bigger hands........

When us women realize this and gets the courage to fuck him off a lot of guys will be without wives and girlfriends.
After all, some girls are born with glitter in their veins!!

Never apologize for who you are....unless yous a hoe.

Good day

Today turned out to be a good day. I got up from a pretty much sleepless night. Noticed it was raining. By the time I sat down to have brekkie it had started to piss down. Good bye Swedish sunny and hot summer. See you next year. I was in a good mood because I had no nasty or negative messages. Just nice ones for a change. Princess and promises of visits. Who doesn't like to wake up to that??
Got to work and started my day.by chopping cucumbers. Easy. Got a phone call about noon-ish that I did not expect...at all. It's fair to say that after that phone call my heart was filled with joy. It was so nice to feel lightened for a change. It has been so much negativity and bad blood in my life lately.
I had a big smile on my face the whole day.

After work I went home, to an empty apartment. Not that fun. I had a long hot bath. Got another message from Alex offering me his assistance with Ms Sassy ( yes I name my pet things ). Alex thinks I'm a retard when it comes to Technology. ( I'm very proud to say I unlocked my iPhone that had frozen the other day all by myself...not even Apple support could figure it out. Took me 5 hours but I did it. )
So Alex was kind enough to help me sort some stuff out with my laptop. Downloaded stuff and disc cleaned it etc. To be quite honest I have NO IDEA what he was instructing me to do. I just did what he told me to.
After an hour and a half on Skype ( bless Skype ) we were done for this segment. Step two he would get back to me on. I apparently need to download more things. It's quite frustrating to be a laptop handicapped person. So thank you Alex, for your time, honesty and for your calmness when I was thick. I really appreciate it.

Another awesome event occured this weekend. I took my oldest son Luqas to see Metallica. This band y'all is the king of metall. I've seen them 3 times now and I never get disappointed. What was so special to me this time was that I brought Luqas. To do something like this with him ment a lot to me. And I hope to him to. He was a bit shy in the beginning but at the end he loosened up and started to sing along and clapping and just rocking it like the rest of us. That was nice to see.

I had my good friend Anna over for a catch up, dinner and drinks. We sure had so many things to talk about. It's so nice to just be able to open up and get feed back on stuff we've felt insecure about. At the end of the day every girl wants a guy that can make her smile. That wants nothing more than to make her smile.

We decided to go into the city to meet up with some other friends of mine. Best choice ever. Had such a good time. Danced and laughed all night. Honey for the soul. Seriously great!

The only cure to all this madness; is too dream, far and wide, if possibility doesn't knock, create a damn door. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't make it. If the journey your travelling seems to far fetched and wild beyond your imagination; continue on it, great things come to the risk takers. And last but not least, live today; here, right now, you'll thank your future self for it later.
