Soooon

Just a coulpe of more days then my boys will get here. I´m so excited! Need to decontaminate the house tomorrow. I heard that someone said that Phuket was the wasteland of Thailand, but that person obviously haven´t been to my house. It´s smelly cat´s fault :) lol.

I really want to go to Central as well. Just to stock up. Have driven my bike there with the kids before and it was a bit scary. Don´t wanna do it again.

Yesterdays shopping was nice. Really really hot and humid so I was sweating gallons. Got 2 blacks tops. Super cute. Of course they have bling on. :) Wanted to buy T-shirts for the boys but the sizes were to weird. So I guess I´ll take them shopping next week. I can´t believe that they are here soon. :)

Took Rachel to my favorite restaurant "Papa´s". She loved it. Went back to my house and had a drink and got ready. Make up, hair...the works.

Took her to SC but it was shitty as. Thought it would be loads of people since it was pool comp but it was football on the tv´s and just a few that played pool. At least she got to meet Rose. :)

Stoped a tuk tuk on main road cause the guys at the station are assholes. So rude. 300 baht tops!

When we got to Kalim it started to rain. And it was pissing downn rain in Patong. So took shelter at the nearest bar and had a glas of wine. Got to Rumpan and they had re-painted it. Blue and yellow. Way better than before. I don´t love the big swedish flag on the wall. I wanted something different. But hey...I´m not the owner. I just work there.

Micke and Emil are now part owners and buddha help me.

Anyway, had a good night. The Aussies rocked up and they left pretty quick. Not as good turn out as the night before. But Rachel and I danced in the bar and had fun anyway.

Last night was my last work night for a while. I am going to enjoy the time off. It has been too many late nights and I have been workin 7 days a week. Gotta let it go.


Woke up to rain. My bike is by Elvis bar. Damn!! So it´s gonna be a movie and take out day today. Me and smelly cat. And my bed and doona. GREAT.

Gahhhh

Seems like every post is about my job. And it kinda is. I sleep until lunch time and then I do all the things you might do evening or night time. Which leaves very little time to have beach time or hang out with friends. Most of my friends work during the day anyway. Only my patong friends that´s not working daytime.

Ima try to get to the beach after this. The weather is awesome right now. Sunny and hot. Just the way I like it. And it is actually really nice to lay on the sunbed and listen to music and just be. You know. I am a very energetic person so I get bored quickly and I like to live in the fast lane. But lately I have been working really late and my body is so tired, my mind is tired too. So I need to chill out to be able to cope with late hours and drunken dumbass people. ( sorry....I do have great guessts as well )

This cat that I´m currently taking care of is the smelliest cat ever. Chelsea shall from here on forth be refered to as SMELLY CAT. I kinda regret being bullied into taking care of her. I am such a pushover sometimes.

Oh, looks like I´m not going to the beach. I´m going shopping with Rachel. Shopping, lunch and girltalk. I need some girltalk and input on some issues I have with stuff. Venting and getting another point of view is healthy. What a fantastic way to start of a Saturday. And working tonight ( were supposed to have my day off but I have these Aussie guys coming in a large group. Returning guest is always good ).
Taking Rachel back to Kamala with me. Dinner and drinks before work. She has never been so that will be fun.I wonder which pubs I will take her to. Hmmmm!!

Will do some shopping for my kids while I´m in the shopping mode. I love shopping. Have no money, but I love shopping. I need to get a fucking raise. I bring in so many people. If I worked for white room I would get 2000-2500 night. HELLO!!! I need to start working there instead. Now that I have so many returning guests and all :)

Just gonna give you the super short pg 10 story.

Went to chritsmas eve dinner with my friends. Ate italian herb chicken and fries. That was the first time I had done that.
It was really great to spend christmas eve with them. Took my mind of things. But I got fantastic news... MY KIDS ARE COMING!! New years. Happy happy happy!!!! :) :)

After dinner we went to Elvis bar for a few drinks before going to work. Yes, I did work on christmas eve. Haven´t done that for ages. Lauren came with me and she got so drunk. ( sorry you couldn´t hold the shots Lauren ).Went out after work and danced. It was so much fun ( for me, Lauren had to stick to water)
Came back home at about 4-5am.
Thank you Ms Angel for my christmas gift. <3 <3

Christmas day I went to Kylie and Albert´s house in Cherng Thalay. Had dinner and drinks. I am really blessed to have such wonderful friends. Thank you for having me. Who doesn´t wanna kick back by the pool in +32 with a glas of wine? Just saying.....

Of course Gangnam style was mandatory. Oppan Gangnam style op op op.....

Went to work later that night. Had a bunch of my swedish guys rock up. It became a party at the bar.
White room had their christmas dinner ( yes, Tobbe...some employers actually take their staff out to christmas dinner ) and they got christmas gifts ( hmmm....where is mine?? ) Adam got the most awesome one. A santa dress. Hilarious!!



Ended up going out again. Meet a friends son in Patong and we shared a tuk tuk back to Kamala some time early morning.

Boxingday is always sad for me. Normally I´m in Khao Lak from christmas eve till today, but since I´m here by myself I didn´t want to go this year. I am talking about the anniversary of the 2004 tsunami of course.
Not gonna spend a lot of time talking about how horrible and incredibly tragic this was.
My thoughts to all the families that were affected, especially to my friend Anna and her brother that survived and a light a candle for their parents that died in Bang-Niang. <3

I actually went to the movies with a friend. I saw "the impossible". I cried. What a well made movie. It was emotional and I´m glad I had a night off. I was a bit shaken afterwards.
Went to dinner after the movie. Had an early night.
Or at least I wanted to. I had such problems sleeping. I had a millions things running through my mind. Realized that some things had to change and some things I am so over. I was tossing and turning. This is the time I really miss having someone next to me to snuggle with.
Last time I looked at the watch it was 4.45am. Insane.

This morning I spent chating and skyping people. It´s nice to catch up with friends over the internet. Very easy to do. Even if it is a quick chat over facebook. Easy breezy cover girl!! :)

 I´m gonna clean out christmas. We have a cat that knocks down everything, destroys my awesome ornaments and stinks out my kitchen with her poo.
But she is cute....

Christmas eve

My very first christmas eve by myself. It stinks. Not that I don´t love being here in the sun, away from the cold and the now falling snow ( according to all the facebook status updates anyway ). I miss waking up to my kids rushing in and telling me that santa has been here. The joy and excitment in their eyes. Me making breakfast and putting the almond in the porridge. Hoping I´m the one who gets it of course. I haven´t stoped loving to get gifts.....

Anyway. My christmas eve started off with a tequila. Yes, my very first tequila. Thanx Rachel. ( Rachel works for White room, a club next to my bar ) She came running and screaming for me to come into white room close to midnight. ( mind you I was drinking coke and soda at this time ) Of course I gor stressed out and ran after, wondering what was going on. Inside she had a tequila waiting for me. Bless her. She was so excited and jumped up and down saying Happy christmas eve. CHEERS!!!

Then I went out to my bar and shouted everyone a shot ( or 4 ). It is christmas eve after all.

The bar was crowded last night. A lot of swedish people and later even scottish, aussies, canadians and italians. It was a lot of singing and dancing happening. I got offered to stay in Patong, and I should´ve taken that offer. It would´ve been fun to party last night.

Got invited by this swedish returning costumer to spend christmas eve with him and his sister. That was incredibly sweet of him. Thank you Jonathan.

When I got home really late, I had my earphones in and I was in the kitchen doing what ever. Then I saw someone in the corner of my eye and I screamed. FUCK YOU David!! Scared the shit out of me.

Seemed that the Berminator was crashing on our sofa.

So here we are. Me posting my frustration and abjectness on christmas morning.
Not having my beautiful children here really sucks.
Christmas alone is a very sad day, lonely tears never go away, if you have family and friends that are not far, realize how lucky you are.

A couple of my friends went back to Oz yesterday too. And one went to Canada They are all coming back, but it´s not the same here.

I´m glad that I have my Angel here with me. Otherwise I don´t know what I would do. *love*


Anyway, wish you all a merry christmas and have a wonderful christmas eve with friends and family. Eat a lot and hope santa brings you awesome gifts.

Saturday morning

Woke up fairly painless and went to Surin beach for breakfast with Ms Angela x 2, Hayley, David and J-Wow. The breakfast sucked. Not to mention the banana shake. Yuk! But I love surin so it was worth going anyway.

Was just going to get ready for a lunch date in Patong when it started to rain. NOOOOO!!!!
So now I´m stuck here at the house. Blogging and watching "taken 2".

Need to go to the market today. I am out of chicken. And would love to go to central as well. Need to stock up on things so I have it when my boys get here. I still don´t know the date, And I´m getting really frustrated. Sometimes I wonder if I was drunk or high the entire relationship. Or maybe I should´ve been.......

Sounds like it´s calming down. I might just make it to lunch.

Just want to clarify somethings since I get some rude and childish comments here at times.

Grey doomsday

 It's 2012 12 21 and you know what that means: The world is ending! Sort of. Maybe. Probably not. 

The Mayans never actually predicted an apocalypse. There's nothing in Mayan texts that specifically says "The world is ending on December 21st, 2012." That's just when the long-form version of their calendar runs out. And at the end of this cycle (the 12th cycle), life and society as we know it will be wiped out to start again fresh. But none of the texts ever say, "Yeah, come December 21st, 2012, you are all effed. So use your gift cards now."
 According to The X-Files, the day after the apocalypse is when aliens will finally take over Earth. We know this because Mulder confirms it. Basically, in The X-Files, the theory was that aliens would come the day AFTER the apocalypse because they'd want to take over an empty Earth. And I think we all know better than to doubt The X-Files. 

Anyway....I´m still alive and so are you.

Yesterday was cloudy and it rained on and off. Sucked. But I went into patong anyways. I needed to get some food.
Got stood up twice, lunch and afternoon. I´m over it. 

Went to Patong festival with Max.( Max is a guy from the Gold coast and he is friends with Adam and Sussy. That´s how we met. Always nice to get to know new awesome people ) Bought a lilacy glitter lipgloss and tried to find some christmas presents for the boys. Non of us were drinking last night since Max got totally blind and rocked back home at 07 am. Hahahaha... Hang over delux.

It was a slow night at work. Probably since it was the last day of the festival and everyone was hanging out by the beach or something. Or the people that came were really drunk. I last night I couldn´t be bothered to care about them. You know some of these kids ( yeah, like 17 18 yr old kids ) gets so drunk they can hardly walk. Something for you parents to think about when you let your kids go abroad. No, they aint going to hang at the beach and do treeking. They are going to get smashed drinking buckets. And hook up with random guys. Just saying!!! Pack condoms, antabuse and peppar spray.

Got home at about 2.30. Was up chatting with friends till like 04.30. And I´m tired. Might take a nap later.

It´s grey out today so beach time doesn´t sound very appealling. Maybe a movie and some ice.

Close to christmas

I am going to spend christmas alone for the first time ever. No family. I can´t describe how much that hurts. My children were suppose to be here for christmas but their dad have other plans. Which is totally frustrating because I can´t do anything about it. Their dad is evidently going to go with them and that means that my children have to wait until their dad gets his christmas vacation. Never mind that the ticket price is twice as high and that I have to wait for my babies. I´m really fuming over this. It´s been a long and nasty fight over this. Threats about not sending my children over. So I do what I have to do to get them here. Shut up, pay and wait!! So here I am, still clueless on what date they are arriving. My x have no communication skills.

I feel lonely and blue. I´m missing them so much. Hopefully their aunty Angela still have some new year days off so we can rent a car and do some fun stuff when they get here.

Anyway. More and more people are leaving Kamala to spend christmas with family and then come back after new years, Some come sooner some come later.

My wish for next year is to finally move on and shake all the seamy things that have happened. Be happy and love life again. Get my children here and get that job I´ve applied for. That would be sweet....

What a week...

New week, a new chance to start over.

It has been a rough week for me. I have been sick. I am never sick so I just died a bit for 2 days.
Im still not 100% but hey I´m a swedish viking :)

My friend Jody and her 2 beautiful children went back to Australia on Saturday. It´s really weird not having them here. Jody has been one of my closest friends here. We have shared a lot this past 18 months. I miss her heaps. Hopefully she will be back sometime early next year.

I have been working the whole weekend. Both Friday and Saturday was massive. Had a lot of people and I actually took a tuk tuk on Friday.Sunday was a bit quieter. Only a small group of Swedish people came.

It´s been raining here as well on and off. That sucks. But today it was pretty nice. A little cloudy but nice.

Tonight is my day off and I am going to spend it at Aussie pub and the charity night. We won last time but I´m not sure we can win without ms Jody :) What am I saying...of course we can win. We kick ass!! Have to build up my confidence.

I got some very sad news last week.

My favorite little girl from school earlier this year has leukemia. My heart just stoped when I got the news.
I took care of her for a couple of months. She was only 2 at the time. I love this girl and she loved me. She always held my hand and wanted to sit besides me or on my lap.
So life is really unfair and I think about her and her family everyday. But she is a headstrong girl so I know she will get through this. She is a winner. 

Lucia

Today is a big swedish holiday. Lucia. Ima try to explain it for those of you that don't know what it is.

Saint Lucia's Day (sometimes Lucy for short) is the Church feast day dedicated to Saint Lucy and is observed on the 13th of December. Its modern day celebration is generally associated with Sweden and Norway but is also observed in Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Finland, Hungary, Malta, Bosnia, Bavaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Spain and St. Lucia, West Indies.[citation needed] In the United States it is celebrated with cookies on the mantel in states for a large number of people of Scandinavian ancestry, often centered around church events.

A traditional kind of bun, Lussekatt ("St. Lucia Bun"), made with saffron, is normally eaten on this day.

Although St. Lucia's Day is not an official holiday in Sweden, it is a popular occasion in Sweden. The evening and night before (so called "Lusse-vigil") The Lucia Day is a notoriously noisy time. High school students often celebrate by partying all through the night. At many universities, students hold big formal dinner parties since this is the last chance to celebrate together before most students go home to their families for Christmas.



I really miss my children today. I feel very lonely. And getting quite sad actually.

Im starting to question stuff around me and if it's worth all the hassle.

Think Ima take a walk in the beach now and just breathe. I have a lot to take in and a sunny walk will do me good.

Monday....

Today was a Thai holiday. So schools, banks and other officiall places were closed. So ms Angela had a well needed day off. Or ish anyway. When I woke up at 10.00 we went to red café for breakfast and to do some charity work for the Swedish quiz night. It was a fucking hassle, let me tell you. I've never used powerpoint before and coming up with questions took forever. Not too hard not too easy. Damn!!!
But it was fun and it felt good to know that the work you put in is going to genarate into good things for the children.

While we were sitting there it started to rain. Torrential rain! And the thunder was so loud it hurt My ears. It rained for about an hour and a half.

Before work today nong Roh braided My hair and I had a Beer (!) with James and Daniel at May Dens.

At work a group of french guys rocked up and sat a while. Then a friend from Kamala showed up and brought his friends with him. They were embarrassingly enough such cheapskates that they bought Beer from 7/11 and drank at My bar. Sheldon got a few beers though.Good man :)

Played the hammer game and I actually won one time. Yey!!!

There was a fight at white room that spun out of hand so by 02.40 I said we had to leave. The thais were gathering and that is never a good sign. Took the guys to gg's because it had started to rain. Waited for the rain to calm down and then Sheldon was so kind to ride with me home.

So back home at 03.50. It's late. Early...what ever. Now Im more relaxed and hopefully go to sleep.

I have a lot of stuff on My mind atm and it's frustrating as hell. I think I know what to do. But Im not sure I want to...

Hey..

Just got home from yet another work night at Rumpan bar. Had a good turn out. The aussie guys from tuesday rocked up and had a few drinks ( Dan's friends ) and then the swedish crew and the some other aussies. A boxning champion in fact.

Spent the day in surin with a good friend today and earlier this week. Had lunch and went on a jetski. Super fun. Thanx sweetie! Had a massage twice this week. My back is killing me. And feet.

Looking for a good flight to bring My boys over. Last minute trips is supposed to be cheap but fuck that. Is stupid expensive.
But I really really wanna see My boys so I'll have to find a way to get the money.

Tomorrow we are having a big charity party for our local kids at the beergarden. It's gonna be so much fun. Tropical them and all the money goes to helping the children learn english. Fantastic.

New week

Had an intresting weekend. Worked on friday and got some of My friends to go with me. Had them try My shots and the only one that failed was the Beer/whisky shot. ( horrible-true ) we all got drunk as. Since I was working I had to meet up with them at another pub on soi something. Live band and I danced with another girl on stage. Fun! Great night.

Saturday pool comp and then aussie then beergarden. Cut night early-ish.

Yesterday the beergarden had it's Grand opening. Earlier this year the beergarden was set on fire and burned to the ground. And now it is one of the best pubs in Kamala. Shame you have to Pay to play pool. And he should give locals discounts on drinks. Just saying!

It was a great party. I was sober since I was working. They had live bands, drag shows and firetwirlers. Awesome. I really didn't feel like working.
Got to work 40min late. It was raining and I waited for it to stop. Once at work it was a bit slow but picked up at around midnight. A group of Mauritians and a group of aussies rocked up and I got them to stop and have a drink. They had lots of drinks ( yey ) and they fucking stayed till past 3am. So I got home early this morning . It turned out to be a fun night. I laughed a lot, got asked out on a date and saw a girl so drunk her mates had to carry her like she was dead. ( a little funny, admit it )
It sucks sometimes to drive your bike. They wanted to buy me shots and drinks left and right. And Im driving.
Well, I guess it's a good thing. I don't wanna be drinking 7 days a week. My poor liver and body. Im already smoking more than I should. Ima try to remedy that.

Had a poor sleep. Had wierd dreams. So I went To the beach with Brits and Jody. Had a swim and soaked some sun. It's very hot today. Wonderful. Went home, had lunch, watched "rock of ages" and took a nap.

Have to make dinner too. And Pay some bills.

Saw it has snowed in Gothenburg. Hahaha.... So happy Im here. :) :)

Reflection

I´ve been here in Kamala for little over 1 month now. Things hasen´t turned out they way I thought it would. Some are better some are worse. 
I came here to get away from a bad situation and to heal myself, maybe even toughen up a bit and get in touch with my inner self. I have a life here, I know that sounds strange to many of you. But that´s how it is. I have no idea how long I´m going to stay here. I just feel like I need to mend what has been broken. And I have some good friends here that makes me happy. A room mate who is fantastic and without her I would be lost. Thanx Angel for great advice and our talks when time is given. And having a PISS once in a while ( get it?) Love you!!

Unfortunately this little village loves to talk about other people, like they actually know shit. Gossip here would make gossip girl look like an idiot. That is the only downside by living here. I really don´t care since I know that 99% of all the crap going around are lies. Sooo keeping myself out of that.

Missing my boys today. It´s December and I get to see them soon. They are gonna be so sick of me with all hugs and kisses and holding hands all the time :)

I have been out so late for weeks now and getting up early and I can feel my body is just not having it. My mind is telling me to chill too. Having headspinns and mind ghosts atm.

I´m feeling a bit depressed right now. Better stop blogging. What to do what to do....Hmmmm....
Yep putting music on. That always helps. Dead by April will fix that. Great songs!!

T.F.I.F

Friday and weekend is here. But to be honest every day here is a weekend...or a work day. You kinda lose track of time and days here.

Worked yesterday. Tried some of drinks I did for the new improved drink list. ( hopefully improved ) I thought some of the drinks were really nice. Except for one beer drink. Ting leo!!

Was a slow night, had the usual drunken aussie guys come up and chat. One of ém were so damn drunk he couldn´t sit still. He was swinging all over the place. Told him to go home and drink water. Bet he feels like shit today. Mohahahahaha.....

Today I went to patong daytime. I bought me some new shoes, since 2 pairs got all mouldy and nasty. I´m pretty happy with my shoes. And I got me two new dresses. I´m really bored with my clothes at the moment. Feels like I wear the same clothes every day. So Ima try one of the dresses tonight when I´m off to work. I was all sweaty in the shop and felt yuckie.

Gonna try the new shot list too. So if you´re in Patong, come by the bar and be my guinea pig.
So no motorbike for me tonight. Tuk tuk or motorbike taxi. Responsible thinking is key!!

Had an urge of having potatogratain and chicken today so I´m making it now. Smells wonderful :)

Loy Krathong

Loi Krathong takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. In the western calendar this usually falls in November.
Loi literally means 'to float,' while krathong refers to the lotus-shaped receptacle which can float on the water. Originally, the krathong was made of banana leaves or the layers of the trunk of a banana tree or a spider lily plant. A krathong contains food, betel nuts, flowers, joss sticks, candle and coins. Modern krathongs are more often made of bread or styrofoam. A bread krathong will disintegrate in a few a days and be eaten by fish and other animals. The traditional banana stalk krathongs are also biodegradable, but styrofoam krathongs are frowned on, since they are polluting and may take years to disappear. Regardless of the composition, a krathong will be decorated with elaborately-folded banana leaves, flowers, candles and incense sticks. A low value coin is sometimes included as an offering to the river spirits. During the night of the full moon, Thais will float their krathong on a river, canal or a pond lake. The festival is believed to originate in an ancient practice of paying respect to the spirit of the waters. Today it is simply a time to have fun.

I went to my old job....my school....my kids today to see them and wish them a happy and fun day.

My kids from last year and spring term attacked me with hugs and kisses. 2 of the girls said that they wanted to hug me forever. I could just cry right then and there. "My kids" makes me so happy. The love I get and the joy I see in their eyes when we talk is priceless.

They asked me if I could stay and make the Loy Krathong boats with them and I really wanted to but I felt a bit uncomfortable and I didn´t know if I was welcome or not. And since I was already emotional I couldn´t take a no or a grumpy face.

My bike ride home was horrible. I had the biggest knot in my tummy. And I could feel the tears coming. Miss My own kids a lot too.

Anyway, today I´m having a meeting with Rade, Angela and Jody for the fundraising nights thats coming up.
Loking forward to that. Especially the swedish one where I get to be more involved than just getting prizes for the raffles. Which is fun, I´m not saying it doesn´t count cuz it does. I just like to have stuff to do.

I wonder if I have time to take a walk on the beach before the meeting. I´m making time...

 

Rain

Last night it rained yet again. So over this rain. I couldnt drive to work. I got to Nakaley close to Kalim and it just pissed down. I couldnt see what was infront of me. So I turned back to Kamala.

Prior to My leaving for work I went to the monthly quiz night at Aussie pub arranged by the Phuket has been good to us foundation.
There were a fair amount of people participating. Our team was as always me,Jody, Lindsay and since ms Kimberly got the dengue fever ( feel better hon ) we had Neil as a stand-in. We did really good on most of the 5 rounds. So good that we WON. 2.d time Phuket most smartest!!

Whoop whoop!!!

And I won a massage voucher at Jody's shop and a schnitzel buffé voucher at the german place. Yey me..... :)

While I was sitting there and passning time it started to rain again. Just as I was about to leave. But in Kamala it wasn't heavy rain, that's why I decided to go.

And now here we are again. Rain rain rain. Im sitting on My deck overlooking the mountains and village. It's really foggy. And heavy rain. You can't see the mountains or some of the houses.

Bullshit. There is not supposed to be rain season now anyway. OVER IT!!

Weekend

This weekend has been  fun, annoying and reflective.

I did not go to work on Thursday because of torrential rain and massive thunderstorm we had in Kamala. I think it was one of the worst storms we´ve had since I moved here. And I was all ready to go out and party that night too. Stunk!!

Anyway, so I ended up working on Friday instead. Had a glass of wine at Aussie pub first with my friends. And, god bless them, they went with me to Patong. 7 slightly drunken people rocked up at my bar and we had a blast. Eventhough I was working I had a good time. 

After work we went to white room and then to an aussie bar and the Tai Pan. We all got pretty drunk as the night progressed and things were said and done that was pretty hurtful and mean. And I acted out of my character and did childish things. That made me reflect on current situations. Took a tuk tuk home somewhere around 03,00. Walked home from main road, feeling really bad and upset.

  

Saturday morning stunk! Lucky for me I have a good friend that took me to Surin beach in the afternoon for a chat and a shake. As in both drink and reality check. It´s always nice to talk to him, he always makes me feel better and gives great advice. 

Surin beach is absolutely beautiful. Stunning actually.  My favorite beach here.

Saturday night I met up with the aussies for a drink. Wasn´t really in the mood for it but I did my best to cheer up. We all ordered a round of shots. That was well needed. I was supposed  to  go to Görans birthday party at Boom boom and meet up with  the Swedish guys that I´ve gotten to know a bit. But yet again the rain was pissing down and it´s no idea to try to get to Patong in that weather. So stuck at SC and then dodge the rain to Papa´s and then very much later till Skyla.

 I normally don´t like Skyla  but this time it was actually quite fun. A lot of my friend were there and my mood had improved since we cleared the air a little. 

The only sad part was that it was a fight later that night. And I got the riot act for caring about someone that was sad. I really do care, always have and still do. That´s the funny thing about it. I tried at least. 

Went home around 02.00 and for some reason my iPhone ended up in the sand and my flippies  got thrown across the road. Damn!!!

Sunday I woke up 8am had something to eat went back to bed and slept till like 15.00.

Joacim was very helpful towards me yesterday. I needed help with my microphone on Skype. So he spent a few hours trying to help me out. I really appreciate it. Really!

Had lunch (!) with ms Angela and Hayley at a local thaispot. Cheap cheap food.

Went into Patong early and had dinner at Harry´s with lovely Nadia and Henrietta. Hang-over pizza and a coke. Got the vouchers for the Kamala tropical fundraising party. Thank you Tobbe and Henrietta.<3

It was a slow night at work. People either was stupid drunk or they had no intentions of drinking at all. One of those nights…..

An aussie dude rocked up pretty drunk and no shoes. He had a nasty cut under his toe and it was dripping blood. He needed to go to the hospital but be refused. So the girls and I patched him up and he sat with me for a loong ass while. He was polite and everything but annoying. He wanted to hold my hand,he looked me deep in the eyes and he asked me if I could help him home since he had hurt his foot. And that he wanted to just spoon me.Hahahahaha!!! I had to point out that I am not a bar girl and I don´t hold hands with people I just met an hour ago and I most certainly will not help you to your hotel to spoon you no matter how much you try to sweet talk me. I got a phone call and that actually saved me. He got the message and left the bar. 

So thanx for the phone call. :) :) 

Drove home and went to bed. 

Woke up to rain and here I am. On the computer wishing it would stop raining so I can get some brunch.

Kamala´s shyest comes to Patong

Yesterday I just had a chill day basically.

I met up with Jody and Angela at Papa´s to pitch to Rade about the quiznight and Tropical party for charity towards the "Phuket has been good to us foundation". 2 different projects and Rade wants to be part of both. Super generous of him. Much appreciated. He is donating food and various vouchers for the raffle. And Angela and I are planing a swedish quiz night. More info on that later. It feels really good to be a part of something that helps the local kids here. A little can go a long way if all of us participates.

Went to Double D´s house and watched Real Steel. Not the best movie ever, but nice to chill before work.

Got to work at 22.00. The girls was sweet as always. Talked for a bit and just when I was going out to Bangla, James and Jody rocks up at the bar. That was a nice surprize.
So I ended up sitting and having a drink or 2 with them just chatting and getting them drunk. Hahahahaha!!

I treated them to a coulpe of shots, some they didn´t like. WHO doesn´t like a turkish peppar shot?? :) :)

I asked my friend Joakim from whiteroom if he would want to donate something to the tropical foundrasing night.  He was very generous and donated 8 openbar tickets to Whiteroom. BOOM!! I wanna win those tickets :) Thank you so much Joakim, you are truly a wonderful man. PUSS!!

And Tobbe donated 2 for 1 dinners at Harry´s and 3 shots free at Rumpan bar. Thank you Tobbelito!!

This baby Oz guy comes to the bar and got all cocky and challanged Jody to a tequila race. He clearly had no idea who he was challenging. Even though both James and I warned him. The Oz light weight boxer ended up smashing 2 of his shots and Jodes being the drinking queen still gets to keep the title. Well done Darling!

He got a bit upset and Jody wanted him to pay for the drinks and he couldn´t take a joke, so he got all aggressive and picked a fight with James. The situation calmed down after a while and they hugged and got all friendly. But it was pretty funny to watch.

It was a thoroughgoingly drunken night for many people last night. Being sober it´s fun to watch as they try to pick up or fight or crying. You are stupid when you´re smashed. I need to get smashed soon. It´s been years since I was that drunk. Like -cryingandsomeonehastoleadmesoIdon´tfall - drunk. 

I got asked out a couple of times last night too. This one guy wanted to take me out to dinner. He looooved my eyes ( hahahahahaha) and I was the most beautiful girl he had seen. And he said he will be coming back to woo me while I´m working. ( god let´s hope he doesn´t) 

Got home at about 02.40. No rain this time. I need to get a backpack. Had to borrow Daniel´s last night.

Just talked to Luqas. He is wonderful that boy. He told me he is losing his english and that I need to practise with him. Nawwww....such an intelligent boy. So sorry his father can´t be fucked to try. 

Right, so now I´m going to jump in bed and watch gossip girl and just chill.

Missing my boys

Got home from work at about 03pm this morning. Drove home in rain so that sucked. Had a shower and went to bed. Woke up at 7-ish and tossed and turned for a while and finally got up at 11.00. Had lunch with Dewi and Daniel at the Noodle shop. Very cheap food there. 40 bath for a khao pat gai. Crazy cheap.

Got offered to go and see where the guys are building the houses and pools but I saw the massive rain clouds so I quickly went home. Sorry boys, have fun working in the rain :)

Laying in my bed right now and listening to the pouring rain. I really miss my boys today. Talked to them the other day and it feelt so good. I miss hugging them and messing around with them. Hearing them go " mamma mamma mamma" ( which normally annoys the shit out of me). Have asked their dad to help me out with skype time since we are 6 hours ahead and I work night time. But he doesn´t seem too interested on helping me with that and that is bullshit. Well, I guess that´s just the type of person he wants to be. Karma!!

Anyway, I´m looking at pictures and just miss them a lot today. Wish so bad that I could get a job that pays good money so I can bring the kids down and be with me. ( school fee here is massive )

Have a job interview on wednesday in Bang tao. Let´s see how that goes. :)

Days off

Had My first day off on friday. That was nice, I could actually spend time with My friends. We had dinner at the beach. BBQ and drinks. Most of My friends were there so I was enjoying myself.

After dinner the girls and I went to smile bar ( beach bar ) for a drink. Then they continued bar hopping while I went to Elvis bar to see Ann. Didn't stay very long. It was crowded and I was tired.

The others had moved to beergarden. Went there for a glas of wine and then I went home.

Saturday was spent surfskiing ( I think it's called that ) and I was a friggin' rockstar.
Daniel came of at least 10 times ( even though he will never admit it....but I know )

Then we went to SC for the pool comp as always ( and that My friends is not a good thing ) Had a few drinks and a pizza.

My good friend Sam has returned. Haven't had a proper chance to speak to him yet but hopefully next week we can have lunch or something. Catch up.

The night got a bit wet. In drinks and rain. But hey....we were under roof so it was all good.

Tonight I'm working again. So if you're in patong, come see me at rumpan bar!

Great night

Before I went to work last night I actually had time to go to Bob´s bar at the beach to have dinner with my friends. Khao pat gai. Easy and yummy. I did the massive mistake though by wearing jeans. So after dinner I went to change to a dress. Much less sweaty.

Took my bike in and parked as usual by the beachroad. ( really convenient, thank you Patong counsil )

I wore my black heels and black dress and I had my hair slightly diffrent last night. I seriously was like 50 cm taller than everyone else. I mean I´m taller than the average Swedish girl anyway but this was hilarious. I think I could be mistaken for a katoey. Hahahahaha!!

Got to the bar and said hi to the girls. They are sweet. Sat down and instantly got a glas of wine. Thank you Pii Yah. Went to whiteroom and talked to Jocke and Pablo for a minute. Great guys.
Jocke asked me if I was a rocker tonight since I was dressed in black and with darker make-up on. Do you have to be a rocker if you dress dark? Not that I´m complaining if I was aiming to be a rocker....I kinda am a rocker. I´m a ROCKSTAR!! :)

I got a bit bored just sitting there sipping on my wine so I took Pii Mood out on the street to get people to go to the bar. She looked a little scared. I tried to talk to both girls and boys and couples but DAMN it was hard. I got 6 people to come and get a drink or 3. My first victime (!) was two OZ guys from Perth.
They were pretty easy to get. But I was requested to come and chat with them. Well it´s my job so sure.

One of the guys were intrested in the bar, it´s for sale, so Tobbe and Will(?) did some maths and numbers and what-not. They had a couple of beers and then they wanted me to go with them to Grabbarna Grus. But no can do because I´m working. Nice guys and all but no thank you.

A german couple sat down after I said I would give them a free shot. They spent 1,5 hours at the bar. We played some games and talked about their stay in Thailand.

At the end of the night 3 of  the swedish guys from yesterday came by and had a drink. They were a bit hungover from the day before. But they said that they are up for some drinks tonight. GOOD, then I know I´ll have some company. It´s a bitch sitting and doing nothing. I´m not used to that.
I talked to the girls in Thai and they talk to me and I can understand most of it actually. We crack jokes and we laugh. The head thai girl Pii Yah offered me to stay at her house in Patong so I could go out drinking with them at Tai Pan. I´m guessing they are looking for men. Or I know they are. But hey...that`s Thailand and aint no one gonna judge.

And a scoop for all you swedish readers. A very famous reality show celebrity came to my bar. I have know this person for almost a year and this person almost did not recognize me. Under the influance of various chemicals.
Then this person tells me something really big and fucks off without paying the bill. Not that I´m surprized. Not exactly the first time this has happened. Anyway...a shame really.

Tonight I´ll be having some drinks. So it´s gonna be fun. I´m gonna catch a tuk tuk to and from Patong. No driving no bikes here. First I´m going to cook dinner at home and then we are going to Beergarden for the pool comp. At least I can spend a few hours with my friends. Hopefully they will come and see me soon.


Today I went to the beach with Daniel on his lunch break for a quick swim. He went back to work and I stayed and had a walk. So nice. I talked to Nong Roh and she is having a baby girl. Yey!! She is happy, since she´s already got 2 boys. I would wanna have a girl too if I´m ever gonna have more kids.

It´s really really hot today and I´m sweaty as. Bikini and shorts is da bomb. Ima hit the shower in a minute and then start cooking my lemon/rosemary chicken pasta. ( Yes Angela my darling I am doing a veggie dish only for you )

RUMPAN BAR

Ok, so I told you that I got a job at "Rumpan bar" in Patong. So yesterday was my very first night. I went in by motorbike at about 20.10. Had a dinner meeting at Harry´s first. When I got there there was a huge group of people. All from Sweden and mixed ages. Tobbe treated me to dinner and wine. Thank you sweetie. By 22.00 we were done and all the boys had gotten a bit drunk. So they decided that we should go to Molly Malone´s for a drink. I had a coke cuz I don´t wanna be tipsy on my first day of work. And the fact that I had to ride my bike back to Kamala. See...very mature of me.

At about 23-ish me and Tobbe went to Rumpan Bar. I work with 3 very sweet girls. Pii Yah, Pii Mood and Pii Am. Really sweet girls. We will get along just fine.

Tobbe asked me if  I wanted to put some of my favorite shots or drinks on the menu. So I put the "skittle bomb" as the drink for the night. It´s actually pretty nice. Had to try one to see that the girls got me when I gave them the ingrediens. They did.

After a while the Swedish crew rocked up and I had the hardest job ever, to mingle and chat with them.

I ended up sitting with Henrietta and 2 cute boys from Uppsala and watched them play games. The loser has to get a round of shots. Tony ( I think his name was Tony ) lost two times and Henrietta lost one time.

David and I had a few laughs about it cuz Henrietta doesn´t like tequila and that was what was given.

Rumpan bar is located right next to Whiteroom so I get to see my friends a lot. That´s nice. Too bad I can´t go in and dance. Everyone knows I love to dance. I´m gonna have one night this week that Ima party. Take a tuk-tuk back home. I will not drive drunk from Patong. Not even slightly tipsy. Hell to the no! Sitting and drinking soda water and coke all night kinda sucked. But is Ok. 

Anyway, I sat there an talked all night to people. Got 5 british guys to come have a drink. Yey me!!

Got asked by some of the boys if  I wanted to go out with them after work, but I had other plans. Maybe when I have that partynight this week I will.

Tonight I start at 22.00 and I hope I´ll get as many funny and nice costumers as last night.

SO IF YOUR GOING TO PATONG TO PARTY, SWING BY MY BAR AND HAVE A DRINK. I´LL TREAT YOU TO A SHOT!!

Hopefully I get to hang out with my friends tonight before work. Have dinner or something.

All and all my first night was wonderful and I´m really happy that I got this job. Thanx again T and H <3

Busy busy

I know I haven´t written in a while. But I have actually been busy. Having fun. And getting a JOB!! Yey!

The past week I have been out and about a couple of times. With my lovely oz friends of course. I can´t begin to tell you how great they are.

Talked to my boys on friday. God I miss them. But we agreed upon this and I can´t go back on it. They need to be in Sweden for a while. They haven´t seen their dad in many months prior so I can´t be egotistic.
It was wonderful to see them but they have lost their english so bad. I´m the one the speaks to them and since Im not there I guess it´s just not happening. Thank god for skype. :)
Mommy loves you very much. Never doubt that one bit......

Got to ride with Ann and Marcus to immigration. What a hassle. Sometimes you wonder if thai people really are stupid. They can make things so difficult. Stoped by a garage to re-fill the freon to the car´s A/C. It was +37 and I can tell you that it was a sauna in the back of the car. Hahahaha....
Had a nice ride though with Ann and Marcus. We rarely hang out these days so it was nice to catch up for a few hours. ( ANN....Middag i vecka...hur svår ska det vara?? )

Also went to Patong on Friday to have one last party for Dalila. Dalila is Nadias daughter. ( have written about Nadia in previous posts, a wonderful woman ) Dalila went back to Sweden on Saturday morning.
So we did our normal rounds and ended up at grabbarnas.Till very early morning. A bit smashed but it´s all good. My friend Falida works at grabbarnas so it was nice chatting with her.

Oh...wanna tell you that I got a job too. You are now reading the blog of the new bar manager of Rumpan bar in Patong. WOHOO!! I start my first shift tonight.
It´s very exciting and I am so thankful that Henrietta and Tobbe have such faith in me.

Spent Saturday noon and forward at Surin beach with Daniel. Both were a bit hungover so sun, food and swim was perfect. Ended up at SC later that evening for the pool comp. Everyone was playing but me. I really don´t feel like embarrass myself in public competitions. However I have beaten both Daniel and Jody in the past. :)

Sunday we took a bikeride to Kata. Had lunch and stoped at Karon beach for a swim on the way back.And just as we were getting ready to go back it started to rain. Heavy rain. So we were stuck under an umbrella for a good 15 minutes.

Daniel and I stayed in Patong while the others headed back to Kamala. Or so we thought.
Sorry again Jodes for thinking you were your slow self. IF you´d call and said you got a flat tyre I would´ve come for you. And blame Dewi. He was the one that rode with you back.....or should have.

Anyway, went to the tattoo shop and all of a sudden its cover-up time. Which seems to be the best option at the moment. No, not for me. Daniel´s back. But I might do something too. When I get my first pay check :)

Got a clipper and went back to Kamala and cut Dan´s hair. I know, Cute!!

Late afternoon we went with the girls and Marty, Nicky and some other thai ladies to the night market in Phuket town. We just arrived and got our first snack when it started to rain. We stood under a plastic roof for maybe 30 min. But then it eased down. I bought 3 pairs of shades ( no, James....500 baht or you can´t have the white pair ) and 2 silver nose rings. Didn´t really need anything but it was fun to go. It has been years since I been there. And it actually rained that time too.

Ended up at SC again to watch the fotball game between Chelsea and Liverpool. 1-1 so I don´t know what the fuss is about, but apperantly that was not good. Judging by the face of a certain football freak.

Had a great week with lots of activitys and heart to heart conversations. It is reliving to get things of your chest sometimes. No matter how good or bad it is. Hopefully the person who is listening get you and don´t judge you or make you feel bad.
