Cold as...

So I went on a road trip the other day with Joacim ( that is my ex for the new readers ) we ended up at a big famous Swedish shopping center. And I got some random stuff I needed. Like a microwave, shampoo, washing detergent, a calendar, various things for the boys and the most important thing I got was a hot pink one piece. It is so god damn redneck that it' s awesome. Best buy ever.

Thank you so much Jocke for helping me out with all the heavy lifts and putting shit up on my walls and I did have a good time on the road trip. I really appreciate it.

I was rocking guitar hero last night in my living room with my one piece on. I didn't have the blinds down so I can just imagine what people must've thought and stared when walking by my window. Hahaha...don't really care.

Spoke to a friend last night and I got challenged next week to a karaoke battle. I am sooo gonna lose, since he claims to be such an amazing singer but CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!

We went out to a park in central Gothenburg this afternoon. And let me tell you it was freezing. They gave away free hot cocoa at different stalls but that didn't help a bit. At one point I couldn't even bend my fingers. I should've brought gloves, I know. To be fair I haven't really been in this cold weather in years. I've spent every WINTER/Christmas in Thailand for the past 5 years. But I'm starting to look forward to Christmas this year. It's gonna be heaps of firsts for me. And I'm good with that.

I'm having company over tonight and I need to start cooking. I think ima make Taco pie. Haven't had that in over 2 years either.

Pt.2

Building Trust In a Relationship

One of the key factors to making any relationship work is trust. Among the most common reasons given for a romantic breakup is a loss of trust.  If you cannot trust someone, you cannot love him or her. Love and trust are inseparable from each other.

There will always be trials and tribulations in a relationship, but when you face difficulties with an open mind and actively work through the difficulties, the trust in your relationship will grow stronger. If you want to build a more trusting relationship with your partner, these six tips will get you on your way!

1. First and foremost, tell the truth – this is not always easy, sometimes telling your partner the truth can hurt their feelings, but in the end, it is the right thing to do. One lie can create a loss of trust that is sometimes impossible to recover. A little “white lie” can turn a small thing into a major issue. Moreover, once your partner has lost faith in your word, they will be suspicious of everything you say.

2. Be Reliable. Trust is just another way of saying you can rely on someone. You trust your partner to do certain things no matter what at all times. This trust builds security in a relationship.

3. Talk and Listen – Open and honest communication is a big key to building a trusting relationship. Only by talking and listening to each other will you learn what is going on inside your partner’s head.  The more you know someone the easier it is to trust him or her.

Do not be reluctant to share your dreams and desires with each other. Too many people never let their partners know what they need or want from the relationship. Do not let your partner wonder, or try to guess what they should do for you. Trust that your partner cares about what you want.

4. Keep Your Promises – We all know that unforeseen circumstances can interfere with our best intentions from time to time, but if all your promises are broken, then the trust between you and your partner will become broken. Hey, if you can’t do something then just say no.  Do not put your partner in a precarious situation because you cannot come through with a promise you made.

5. Show your flaws – Ok, so you can’t cook or change the oil in the car, but when you let your partner see your true colors, you give them the opportunity to accept the real you—even if it reflects your insecurities. Once you realize that you won’t be berate for your lack of cooking skills or the fact that you don’t know a lug nut from a peanut you’ll feel more comfortable revealing bigger things—like life goals and family issues—and trust that your partner will be totally supportive.

6. We all make mistakes, but do not be afraid to say, “I was wrong” – Man-up (or woman-up) and take responsibility for your errors.  A sincere apology can go a long way to mitigating your mistakes and keeping the trust in your relationship.

Ladies....you feel this

Unfortunately we all know someone that has been cheated on... maybe even yourself.
For the truly wronged, real satisfaction can only be found in one of two places.…absolute forgiveness or vindication. This is not a post about forgiveness.

Not enough sex

Remember the good old days when you could stay up forever fooling around? And before you knew it, sleep was more important than sex. Well, women want to feel wanted. If you’re not making her feel that way, she could seek it elsewhere. To keep that spark alive, ask her out on date nights, send her provocative e-mails at lunch, and by all means, don’t let life get in the way of kissing, cuddling and sex.

Being the bad girl

Just as men feel the urge to sow their wild oats, some women have an inner sex kitten just waiting to be unleashed — and when the beast escapes from the cage, look out. This frisky behavior usually rears its ugly head in response to some sort of life change — major weight loss, new job, new friends, mid-life crisis, etc. Keep the lines of communication open and she’ll be more likely to talk to you about what’s going on instead of spilling her guts to a stranger in the night.

Self-esteem

Sex can be an instant pick-me-up; a self-esteem booster that makes women feel sexier, more beautiful and more loved. If your girlfriend has self-esteem issues, it doesn’t mean she’s automatically going to cheat - but there are ways to make her feel secure in the relationship that could help her from straying. Pay attention to her, ask her questions and don’t hold back on compliments — a little flattery goes a long way with women.

Revenge/payback for past wrongs

You might've cheated, but whether you blew your money in Vegas or got caught in a big lie, you did break her trust (and, possibly, her heart). She feels wounded and betrayed — and wants to hurt you the same way you hurt her. To regain her trust, it’s not enough just to tell her you’re sorry; you have to show her. Actions speak louder than words.

Lack of intimacy

You have it all: the house, the two-car garage and the two-and-a-half bathrooms — at least on the outside. But inside, the relationship is lacking the one thing women want most: intimacy. It’s not just sex that makes women feel connected in a relationship; it’s touching, kissing, cuddling, and communicating. Women crave it, and she could seek it elsewhere if she’s not getting it at home. To improve intimacy, spend quality time together, give her a foot massage, make a romantic dinner for two — anything that will give her a sense of unity and closeness.

Feeling neglected/ignored/underappreciated

Women wear many hats in a relationship — housekeeper, errand-runner, grocery shopper, babysitter, etc. When she feels more like a maid than a girlfriend, that’s when she could stray. The fact that you spend all your time at work or playing Xbox gives her double reason to seek attention elsewhere. No, you can’t quit your job, but you can thank her for all her selfless deeds — and do your share around the house.

Your emotional withdrawal

Women are emotional beings. Not only do they need physical support, but they also need emotional support. Once you retreat from the relationship, she sees it as a sign that things are through — a breakup is inevitable. So, she’s not really cheating, she’s moving on. To avoid this, be present in the relationship. Yes, that means sharing your icky feelings, but it’s better than the alternative, hey?

Bedroom boredom

Sex can become monotonous if you let it — the same position; the same setting; the same person. An affair adds adventure and gets her adrenalin flowing. To avoid routine, avoid repetition. Sweep her away for the weekend, make out at the movies, kiss her for no reason at all… The unexpected adds excitement.

Exit strategy

Instead of breaking up with you, she cheats on you. That way she doesn’t have to deal with the broken relationship, which is much harder to fix. An affair is the easy way out — or at least that’s how she sees it. That’s another reason communication is key. Let her know that she can talk to you about anything and that you love her enough to work through any bumps in the relationship road.

Revenge for your cheating

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Because you cheated, she wants to get back at you and give you a dose of your own medicine. Cheating is her vengeance, her chance to even the playing field. No, you can’t undo your indiscretion, but you can ask for her forgiveness, assure her it will never happen again and go out of your way to help her and you get through this tough time.

Her cheating heart

When you add up all the reasons women cheat, it’s usually her heart (or her ego) that needs healing, not her libido. Keep the lines of communication open, be supportive and encouraging and work at keeping that spark ignited. In other words: Don’t give her a reason to stray.

Ringtone

About a year ago I got introduced to this Aussie rapper called Kerser by an Aussie friend. Cheers Bogan. Or as he likes to call himself- mad cunt. I don't know why that is so common to say in Australia. The C-word is not a nice word. I don't like it at all.
Anyway, he is a huge fan and I thought I'd listen to him. And I actually liked it. It might be the aussie accent or the sample of "cruel summer" that does it. I have this as my ringtone. Since a year back. You know me..and if you dont know you better ask someone!!! Awesome.

I remember telling Bogan ( bogan is NOT his namn. Bogan is aussie for redneck, hillbilly. I just call him that just because..) that this song is sampled. He did not Believe me. So I had to video record on my phone and send it him. Proof that Bananarama did it somewhere around mid eighties I think. And  Ace of Base ( YAY SWEDEN ) did a cover on it in the mid nineties. He is very into music so I was a bit surprised that he didn't know. I think I might've broken his heart a bit.

Have a listen to this song. I think it's cool as. Attitude and self-confidence. Like me.

A true masterpiece. With my favorite colors too. Thank you Alex. That put a smile on my face. Mwah....

Zlatana Perkele

So when all of Sweden stops to Watch the fotball game ( soccer game) between Portugal and Sweden I'm forced to lay in bed and browse the internet. You know why???

BECAUSE I AINT GOT NO FRIGGIN TV!!

However that is going to be taken care of in a day or two. You see...I have ordered a TV.
Yes, I have clicked on my laptop and apparently a LG TV is finding its way to my house.
Funny how that works hey.
Anyway, I am feeling very grown up. And poor.
This divorce and moving to Sweden so quickly with plans that went out the window has turned out to be real expensive. I have spent so much money its not funny.
I was not expecting that at all. Then again a lot of things has happened that I wasn't expecting.

I feel pissed off that I can read the fb news feed and hear all my neighbors yelling and cheering.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

And cheers mate for msging me every 2 min to tell me shit. Appreciate it. Banana bender!!

I had to entertain myself * besides all the texting and the very lovely and surprising phone calls I got this evening* with watching a GREAT movie. I recommend all y'all to see it. " The help".
And I looked at various youtube clips. And I gotta say that I L.O.V.E this lady.
She is hilarious. so check her out. Especially her parodies.

Its been quiet for a while now. Think Sweden lost. Pretty sure we did. No worries.

Within what..

I have had a strange day. Well actually it begun yesterday and kinda held its grip onto today.
But since I am such a good..nah...great..nah..master of pushing my emotions aside, well most of the time, I rocked at work today. I thought I'd messed up my cooking for not having the right spices but apparently they loved it. I'm happy about that. I was expecting them to bite my head off.

Got a phone call around lunch. About a potential job, so I am going into the city for an interview. They seemed very keen and that's good. For me. I'm just worried about the salary. It wasn't quite was I want. And unfortunately I don't think I can negotiate it. Besides I'm not good at that anyway.
So fingers crossed I'm wrong.

Had another conversation today that had to do with yesterday. I'm pleased I had that conversation. It confirmed some things and corrected me in others. Just as there are two sides to every story, there are two sides to every person……one that we reveal to the world and another we keep hidden inside. A duality governed by the balance of light and darkness. Within each of us is the capacity for both good and evil. But those who are able to blur the moral dividing line hold the true power.
Unfortunately for me my good side always takes the better of me. Even if I try not to.

There’s an old saying about those who cannot remember the past being condemned to repeat it. But those of us who refuse to forget the past are condemned to relive it.

Leaving you with my homeboys. Tynnereds finest!! Pride and joy. Acoustic version. No growling.

Shhh.....

Secrecy causes even the simplest truth to seem wonderers, mysterious. It has the power to fuel passion and to seduce you to becoming someone you are not. But no matter how we try to guard our secrets, to keep them close....they all come out eventually.

Just a boring sunday arvo

Feeling a bit rough still from Fridays escapades. So chilling and going through photos and videos. I really wish I could post some of them videos. Hilarious.

WHAT the fuck NOW???

Loy Krathong

Today is the annual Loy Krathong. I have had the pleasure of making the boats and the honor of putting them in the ocean for the past 2 years. It really is something you should experiance at least once. Something happens inside you, I cant explain it. I am not a religious person at all. But it's just something nice about this festival that makes you happy. When I worked at the school we did our own boats and it was great. My boys made amazing ones. All organic. No...that's not entirely true. Pin are used. HEAPS of pins. So I actually was worried to walk on the beach the following week. Millions of pins. Have that in mind while strolling or taking your powerwalk on the beach. Hehehe..

Thai people still keep form suitably; on the full moon of the twelfth, people usually prepare natural materials to make krathong. For example, they use banana trunk and lotus to make beautiful krathong then stick candle, incense stick, and flowers in krathong. They always ask for good luck in the future and forgiveness Pra Mae Khongkha. It's based heavily on the idea of clearing out the bad luck, beginning anew and sending Buddha some love, these visually stunning celebrations are perfect for those in need of a little spiritual cleanse.
At the temples and tourist places, they held contestation of making krathong and Noppamas beauty pageants contest. There are many entertainment shows at night. Moreover, they set cautiously fireworks. The materials, used for making krathong, could be easily decomposed. Besides the pins...again.
