Today I had a day off. Which means I spent most of last night after the boys had gone to sleep in my bed ( my doona must be amazing ) speaking and catching up with friends all over the world. There
are many things that bind friends together - Sharing a laugh over an embarrassing incident, comforting each other in times of need, finding it in our hearts to forgive. Or give advise seeing it from their point if view. I had a 4am chat with my favorite Aussie. Went back to sleep and got woken up by razmus at 8am. Cheers Raz.
Appreciate it.
Spent most of my morning in bed. Honestly I rarely lay long in bed but when I treat myself to it I can stay forever.
Thank god for iPhones. Only time you need to leave the bed is to go to the bathroom. Maybe I should get one of them potty thingies that sick and old people have. Then I don't need to move an inch......
The boys' dad came over to help me put some shelves up and drill the make up dresser in the wall etc. Hopefully I won't need to ask him again. I do appreciate it heaps. I really do.
My friend Viveca gave me a surprize visit in the arvo. I love surprizes. The pleasant ones if course. Only.
We had a good chat. Good friends are the ones who tell us the truth about ourselves... even when the truth might be something we're reluctant to admit - that we still have a great deal to learn, that we sometimes need to ask for help, that we maybe overlooking a golden opportunity. Yes, hearing the truth can often set us on a different path, but we never know where that path might take us or who might end up in your life.
I'm looking forward to the house warming party on Saturday. It's gonna be so nice to see my mates again. Some I haven't seen in ages. So it going to be insane.
Prepare to get wankered........ :)
What's life if you can't have a little fun? Laugh at yourself and be goofy.
Sure you should be responsible and serious. But don't forget to have some fun once in a while. Fall in love, dance, drink, be silly and laugh.
Makes you feel good. Happy.
