New year, new possibilities???

So 2015 what have you got installed for me?? I'm very curious and hopefull.

New Year's resolutions?! Of course.

New Year’s resolutions are kinda like a drunk uncle. You know you shouldn’t take him too seriously…but you can’t help but laugh and play along when he comes around once a year. It is the thrill of the could it come true or not. Wishful thinking and putting it out there never hurt anyone...

Well I've got news for y'all. 

The more things change it stays the same. 

2014 was the wake up year for me. I lost too many people in my life that matters to me. To lies and betrayal, to incarceration for doing stupid stupid things, to jealousy and first and foremost to bad decisions. 

I spent This New Year very differently than Im use to. Not that it was bad. Just different. We stayed at the house. Me, the boys, Trav and Sarah. We had two of Sarah's mates over a bit too. And my friend Nicole rocked up. I was real happy about that. Normally we have 8-15 people over and cook a huge feed. Dress up to the teeth and dance. It takes planning. Well kinda. More organized if anything. 

But I really enjoyed this new year eve. It felt positive and I have high hopes for this year. Positive thinking and new adventures :) You’re in a relationship to be happy, to smile, to laugh and to make good memories. Not to constantly be upset, to feel hurt and to cry. And I will take that to heart this year. Not gonna settle and be happy. Happiness is key. There is no getting around the fact that we are, each of us, in charge of choosing our happiness.

We drove down to Margaret River on the 4.th. I needed that drive. Especially on this day. Margaret River is real pretty. 10.992 hours. And overlooking the river and then the ocean later that arvo was just what I needed. Some wounds leave nasty scars. Thank lawd for wine.....

Stayed at a hotel in Augusta cuz the next day we went to Hemelin Bay to swim with the stingrays.
The water was so crystal clear and beautiful there. But COOOLLLDDD!!! Brrrrrrr.....
We were lucky enough to see a few rays. They just came swimming up to shore and chilled for a bit and then they took off. These waters are filled with great whites so I made sure we didn't go too far out as south western Australia is known for their shark attacks. Just a few days before it was an attack in Albany not too far from where we were. YIKES!!
