2013 flash back

A while ago my ex Alex got in contact with me. I then asked him about some videos and pictures he took while we where together. He has kept them so I asked him to send them to me. And he did. In a file I could not figure out. So he had to guide me through Skype, and I felt like a right moron. I'm sure I could've figured it out eventually but it was faster this way. We were on the phone for about an hour talking about this and that. It's strange even though you haven't heard someones voice for a long time, you still remember it, how annoying that voice and accent might be.
I'm a fan of the Aussie accent. Big time. And northen England. I can't change my accent either. I've tried. I'm stuck with the American one. LOL. Been told it's obnoxious but I know it's said with cheeky love. How can my voice be anything but the sound of an angel?? God...what if I do sound like Nanny Fine??

Anyway, I have been going through the folder my ex sent me and I got all emotional.
I miss my job so bad. I had so much fun working for that hotel. And the people in these photos, I haven't see them in ages. Brought back great memories for me. I love Phuket. I was so happy there.
I know there is a part of my life that I'm missing. Life is very interesting... in the end, some of your greatest pains, become your greatest strengths.

So I thought I'd share some with you....

Sorry for the late post on last weekends Eurovision, I've been busy.

I'm not surprized at all that we one. I'm quite horrified by the awful songs that were competing this year. Opera, ballads, just horrible. I liked Australia's contribution but I didn't love it. However it was definitely in the top 3 of my choice. 

As usual I went to Tony's and we had a BBQ. The weather was perfect. So we sat outside the whole time ( minus the time we consumed our dinner ) until the Eurovision started at 9pm. 

I had the champagne ready and of course glitter. It's a shame the pictures doesn't show the glam factor I had going on. Malin was as beautiful as always. 

The boys were watching with me. I love that. I love the fact that they do it for me. They are not so keen on the whole Eurovision concept. And maybe they have a love hatred for it as they do with me. I'm quite out there on these occasions and I'm sure they feel a bit embarrassed when mom ( that would be me ) starts to dance and sing infront of everybody. But I also know they find me hilarious and awesome for doing it. So a little love hate thing going on. 

Måns did an excellent performance and I'm very proud of him. ( he could of ditched the grandpa sweater in my opinion tho ) how is it that he doesn't get sweat stains under his armpits? Dancing around, being nervous and that. I never wear grey just to eliminate the massive risk of sweat stains. Oh my world... 

After I put the boys to sleep we crack open the bundy rum Travis brought from Australia. Let's just say it got the job done. 

Got a couple of messages from people saying congrats. Funny thing is that Finland wasn't even represented. Someone is watching it anyway.... Haha. Busted!

Jade the sweetie had gone up at 4.30am to watch it. Fun talking to her. 

Oh I almost forgot. Before the BBQ Malin and I took the boys for a walk up to the lake. Holy shit that was the most struggling walk I've done in a while. I'm not a quitter so I pushed through it. But sweet Lawd my thighs and my ass was burning. Not to mention the day after. 

But I have to say that it's a nice walk. Very pretty. I love that lake. I use to go swim there all the time when I lived in that area.
