Patong ink..

The day should've started with class but they had to Pick up friends from the airport. So Sussy came over and I did some Zumba. God damn.....

Got a nice phonecall just before lunch. Had a good conversation about the future and how to prioritize to get what you want. Interesting and fun!

Left the kids at lunchtime with Bella at the beach. They really like Bella ( for some reason;) )

Otto was waiting for me and we got started right away. I was quite comfortable laying on the benchbed. Actually fell asleep at one point. That could've been a disaster.

The conturing was ok and the text was fine too. But when he got to the shoulder/neck that hurt a bit. And on the ribs too. But it absolutly hurt the most when he did the color. He used the tiniest needle and omfg that almost made me tear up. Lucky for me I had someone to talk to. And that soothed me.

It took about 4-4,5 hours to get it done. Otto normally works at Lama tattoo but since skin ink tattoo is Lama's shop too he goes where he us needed. Highly recommend these shops if you ever want to get tattooed while in Phuket. Safe and super clean.

Well...

In Buddhism the lotus flower is known to be assosiated with purity, spiritual awakening and faithfulness. Rebirth. The dawn after one´s darkest day, The ability to see past wrongs.

I feel like I have become awakened. I see things differently and I have remained strong. A reminder that you can rise from a shitty situation and still be a beautiful person.

The colors I picked stands for:

Blue:Victory of the spirit over that of wisdom, intelligence and knowledge. ( I have come to learn a few things here that I never thought would happen, which has made me wiser) It is also a reminder of that good things appear when you least expect it. And for a special someone.

Pink: This is the supreme lotus, concidered to be the true lotus of Buddha. And it happens to be my favorite color.

The lettering speaks for it self. I choose to face life with an open mind and I try to always stay positive. I like to dance in the rain.....
So as a reminder and statement I inked it.

Sweet....

Today was My last day of serious beach time for a while. And yes, I think I soaked a bit too much. My face is red and I actually got sunburned on My neck. How is that possible?? So its all itchy and red right now.

Tomorrow is ink time. Sweet lovely selfinflicted pain. Thank you Mr awesome for coming with me. Appreciate it!!

So having an early night and lots of à/c to cool my body down. :)

Hmm.....early night became a late movie night. "the raven". But I enjoyed the company even though I could've Watched it by myself. The trailer was scary so how was I supposed to know??! Anyway, nice to hang out with sir Bravo ( happy??). Yawwnnn... Time to sleep. It's gonna be a looong day tomorrow.

Bad news

I recived some horrible news. My friends brother in law were killed the other day. He got hit by a car when out riding his bike. Leaving wife and 2 children. Feel very sad for their loss and I can't imagen how they must be feeling. And as for my friend...I will be able to hug you soon.

Life is really too short to not follow your dreams and heart. You never know what tomorrow brings. And if you wait too long it might be gone.
Say what you wanna say as long as it is nice things, stop being envious of others because they have done something you want to do and be true to who you are.
Go after what you want.... Tell the people you love that you actually do love them.

I do not know what Else to say. Just horrendous that it happened and My heart goes out to the family....

Angela's palace of panache

So Angela is back at the palace. This fantastic house in the Kalim/Patong mountains overlooking the ocean. I could die here and be happy. The houses goes for 88 million baht. So you get the picture of how awesome it is.

This time round I got to enjoy the doona. Slept really good and woke up with a smile. The kids were happy and especially Luqas. He loves to hang out with Angela and he loves this house ( who can blame him on either Loves?!)

Had some friends over last night and had drinks. We Played the renowned drinking game "roxanne". Age differens was massive. Oldest pair were in their 50's and the youngest in their early 20's ( damn that's almost 18...again :) )

Today we went out for breakfast. Found a nice place at Patong beach. After breakfast we took a walk on the beach. It's really hot today so it was nice to have some ocean breeze cooling you down.

Back at the palace I got missed messages since no wifi at the beach.
Have been waiting for days and what are the odds of getting them for the 2 hours I'm out?

But I'm hoping that we could catch up later today. Time differens and other things you can't control suuucks!!

The kids are in the pool and Angela and I are chillaxing on the sala. Soo nice. Can't be bothered doing much today. Kinda like Ferdinand who rather sitts under the cork tree and smell the flowers. But me laying on the sofa looking at the ocean. Sweet!!

Mothers day in Thailand today and the queens birthday. So happy birthday to her and happy mothers day to me and all moms around the world.
